The rack was sent overnight and is well made. After mounting it on the roof racks the car would not fit in the garage so we asked for a return and customer service was great first asking if there was anything they could do to help. Unfortunately it was not going to work out so they approved a return.

I was in between these and thule ski racks. Yakima’s were half the price and seemed pretty good for my needs. I got them, installation was a breeze, use even more practical, fits 2 sets of skis easily. I loved them for a month then went into a car accident where I lost the keys. The racks were absolutely fine (they endured a car accident where the car was totaled) so I installed them to a new car. I realized the keys were lost and reached out to the company to see if they can send second pair of keys. Within 3 days I received my additional keys. They didn’t have to provide that yet they still did, lovely people really.

This is a simple rack to install and holds skis securely on the roof It’s easy to use as well. Sturdy build. It fits more like 5 pairs of skis rather than 6 if u use powder skis so took 1 star off for that.

This is a really nice ski rack. Installed onto the crossbars on my Subaru forester. I needed it for 2 sets of skis and a snowboard. Worked great

This rack is easy to install and very stable. Have not had any issues with it. Vendor shipped it and it arrived on time as promised.

If loaded with boards, minimal sound. Without boards it whistles a bit on the highway, you get used to it but it is loud at first

Great rack with a few minor issues that unfortunately render it useless. 1, if you do not have skis in it, the frequency of the car driving on mountain roads combined with the slight rattle of the rack causes the car noise to be extremely loud. 2, the clips are not sturdy, and will get lost. We cannot use ours because the clips fell off while moving it. We cannot use ours as the clips fell apart and do not fit well together anymore.

I was very hesitant to buy these because of all of the bad reviews regarding the noise, but I also didn't want to pay $200 more for the "better" brand.The wind noise caused by the racks is minimal IF you have skis or snowboards in them. I drove 4 and a half hours to Mammoth this weekend, going 90+ mph at times with no issues with the noise. BUT, when the racks are empty, the wind noise becomes very noticeable after reaching around 60 mph. I think this is because the skis create a gap in the racks for air to pass through, significantly lessening the noise.Just take the racks off when you're not using them. It takes less than 20 minutes to install/uninstall.
