I measured and remeasured because it is a near thing. On arrival, it was a perfect fit for our 2024 Outback. It held three pairs of skis and three sets of poles with room to spare. The mechanisms worked without a problem despite ice and snow.

Was looking for wider roof carrier version so I can easily fit 1 snowboard and 2 skis, without having the skis put together but clamp them individually. This way I need less clearance to my roof and avoid potential scratches on the skis. Installation hardware is included. Looks great and the sticker gives it a nice touch.

Get me pay for some cheap plastic parts where the rack flips into the lock are pretty flimsy and one broke today. It seems it will still latch. Not sure what those cheap plastic pieces of four but they’re there. The rack is sort of tall and doesn’t seem super stable. I’m not sure I would drive on the freeway With my gear in it. I just have to run up and down a hill close by to do my boarding. Don’t think I will use it for road trips. Instructions for installing or marginal at best.

Unfortunately, I didn’t get around to installing it until we had nicer weather and while at least a maximum width of 29.4 inches that is the only width at which it works and on my Volkswagen it is 28 inches so I had to drill and tap a separate set of holes in order to make it functional

This is a great product for holding fishing rods to your roof. They are easy to install. They are functional and do what they need it to do.There is a lock feature and the product has a cool look to it.

Appears to work but poorly designed. Pretty flimsy. The nuts and bolts will need to be continuously checked over time given the vibration. I used lock nuts which should be standard issue. Clearly designed by someone that never installed or used. Lot of areas for improvement, but the price it right.

I just picked up this rack in anticipation for this year's ski season. Having never installed a rack before, the process was straightforward enough. However, in the instructions when securing the brackets it is not clear that you need to include a small screw in the bracket to bolt the rack to your cross bars. While the pictures display this, for the uninitiated it can cause you to backtrack a bit. All-in-all for the price it seems decent. Another thing to note is that securing the lug nuts to the previously mentioned screw is a bit tedious. Everything seems secure enough. Will report back after a few practical uses.
