Flash light is amazing . Gives light to a large area at night . Works great in the cold and freezing weather. Charges with ease with usb port. The lock button is easy to use .

This is a decent, extendable dog leash but I would not recommend it for a large dog. It's pretty small and lightweight. If you had a large dog that pulled it might be a problem. Otherwise, it's fine for a smaller to medium sized dog. The light is decent and very handy at night. It's a great bonus that it's rechargeable. No batteries needed.

It's about the best idea ever, having a flashlight in the leash. The light is brighter and more focused than my phone flashlight. And of course, you're already holding it in your hand for the nighttime outing. And extra points for rechargeable, with a regular C cable.This leash is very small and lightweight. It says for small and medium animals, and I might add, your animal should be leash-calm as well. The cord is narrow and thin, almost like a ribbon weight.I find no provision for changing the light bulb, should it burn out. And as far as I'm aware, once the battery does finally stop charging, it's all over. True for all rechargeables.So,5 stars for integrated flashlight5 stars for rechargeableMaybe 3 stars for solidity and strength.

Pros: It was great to have a rechargeable light right on the leash. Easy to recharge with USB C charger (not included).Cons: I only used it about a month, then my 9lb senior mini-weiner dog tried to run, and the lock on the retractable leash just broke.100% would NOT recommend it.

I picked this one because of it having a flash light. It was great at first, but if you have a dog that isn't quite leash trained yet and will be pulling on it a lot then it might not be the best option. Mine eventually quit locking after a month of use.
