This is perfect for my small Minpin, except she has to get used to it because when I lock it into place or release it it scares her. I love it because now I don't have to walk into the snow or the wet grass ,all I have to do is release more line. It's perfect, and I highly recommend it. It also has a poop bag container.

I wanted to try a retractable leash for my dog and this was the first one I bought. It did catch every now and then right at the beginning but it worked ok and I enjoyed using it. Today when I used it, the button to hold the leash at a particular length no longer works so there is no point in keeping it. I'm disappointed that it didn't even last 3 months!

I purchased this leash almost a year ago from my Pomeranian. I absolutely love it. It’s held up very well, it works great, she gets a lot of freedom with a 26 feet, and I can get her attention with the locking mechanism so she doesn’t run into roads, etc. We walk nearly every day and have never had a problem with this leash. The only problem I’ve had is with the poop bag holder. It was extremely hard to open the end to replace the bags. The cover flew off and under a cupboard that I cannot get to, so the poop bag holder is now worthless for me and it doesn't appear that you can buy it separately, but oh well....

This leash fails at the primary purpose of a retractable leash. Unlocked, it works fine. When I lock the leash, it WILL NOT unlock to retract. I have to stop, use two hands and fiddle and push until it finally uncatches.

Update - the seller has done a great job of responding to my issue and I am very appreciative.I will buy this leash again and I recommend it! Just be careful with the latch.I really like this leash. It's body is sturdy and the rope-like cord is strong.However, the latch to keep the leash from retracting or extending further) broke after only 4 months. My dog likes to run ahead and when I am working to control him, the latch is important.

Within the first 2 weeks, the rubber hand grips fell off. After 4 weeks of use, it broke. Device would not retract. Removed cover and found plastic piece that holds retraction had broke. Cheap plastic crap!Update- Within a few days of posting negative review, the company contacted me. They sent me a new leash the next day. The new leash works great. Rubber grips make holding leash comfortable and secure.

I like this leash ok. I think it feels a. Little to flimsy and light weight . But seems fine for training a small puppy . The puppy loves to chew it .

The locking mechanism was hard to get used to at first- and I didn’t like it but got used to it. It is sturdy, we loved the length, and the leash glided in and out with ease (very impressive). However, it lasted less than a year, and I don’t use it daily (My dog is more often off leash so it is only used a couple times per week, or at the beginning (first couple minutes) of a walk). It began to not retract after about 10 months of non-regular use. I don’t know how that compares to other leashes of this kind - that might be average, especially given the long length.
