Nice dog leash, the option to walk two dogs can come in handy in a rush but not to be used all the time. Restrains dogs from wanting to wonder there own direction.

This leash is a pretty good buy if you have two dogs. I have a puggle who is 3 years old and a German shepherd who is 4 months old. This has become so handy when it comes to taking them on their daily walks. It fits comfortably in my hand and it gives me good control over them. At first, they would get a little tangled, but it was just because we all needed to get adjusted to it. After about 2 weeks of practice, they don't get tangled up like they used to. I have had this for 2 months now, and it has really held up, especially after I accidentally tripped and lost the leash, and my dogs took off running. Even with it getting banged on the pavement a few times it still works.

I loved this retractable leash. We rarely used it because when we take both dogs out, it’s usually both my husband and me and we use separate leather leashes.But on my own, I loved using this. In total, I used it about 12 times. And then it just broke.The retracting function works smoothly but the line itself just tore itself off. So now there’s one leash with a latch on it and the other has no latch. Useless.FYI, my dogs are 16-17 pounds each. We aren’t talking about huge Rottweilers.. and if these two small dogs can ruin this leash in 10+ uses, then any larger dog will destroy it in two uses.Do not buy this.

This works very well with my two dogs, one who is about 18 lb and the other one is about 55 lb.

I have two lab mutt puppies. One is very shy and likes to randomly stop and refuse to move during walks, the other is a psycho who is determine to catch every living bug, lizard, squirrel, ant, leaf. I was using two different leashes which they used to completely get me tangled. Shy was able to randomly stop and Psycho could go crazy and pull my arm out. It was a win- win for them both. Now they are forced to walk together and can't twist me around. Psycho makes Shy keep walking and Shy prevents Psycho from racing up a tree. Both dogs are highly disappointed with this and I'm absolutely loving it. I can also disconnect the double leash which is nice when I'm taking only one dog. Highly recommend!

I was so excited to find this leash & couldn't wait to try it out walking my dogs. The design of this tandem/dual leash is great! I loved it had a swivel where the two leashes meet the main retractable leash where it wouldn't tangle & so you can walk two dogs while only holding a single leash. The handle & push button brake/lock is ergonomically placed. It's a thoughtfully designed leash, seems to be well made & comparable to my other TUG brand leashes which I love.....BUT the item description is inaccurate!One of the leaders is approximately 8 inches longer than the other which is a real problemo for my little dogs who like to walk side by side. The dog on the shorter leader was insulted at the thought of the other dog being in front all the time so it made for an unhappy walk time. I can see how this set up would work well if you were paring a smaller dog with a larger one so that the little one didn't have to work so hard to keep up. I had to return due to the resentment & strife it caused during our walk time. I liked the design of the leash so much I contemplated trying to shorten the longer leader but found another leash to meet my needs. The seller needs to include the measurements of the tandem leash leaders in the description so that it is accurate!

This leash is as described. Excellent when using on two small dogs. I would not recommend this for large dogs due to the two separate lines are not super long. Well made. Lock can be difficult to undo. But easy to figure out. Great product.

I've used other brands before & normally had excellent results. We got a puppy last year after not having a dog for almost 10 years. I went with our usual brand & our little one chewed through her lead in less than a month. We didn't let her keep it in her mouth, but she managed just the same. In a year, we've gone through 7 retractable leashes. She has a lot of energy so apart from training walks, we use a retractable. A few simply lost the ability to retract, she chewed through a few & the others broke on their own. I thought I'd go with a brand I hadn't tried before & am very happy I did. This leash is comfortable to hold, has an easy to use lock feature & after over a month of hard use is working like new. It's not the least expensive out there, but it's also not as expensive as some. It's heavy duty but not heavy to hold. It has a large grip so is easy to use for both my husband and me. Our 1 year old pup is only 40 pounds but very strong with sharp teeth. She hasn't been able to even pull a thread out of place on this leash yet. This leash also doesn't tangle & twist like others we've tried. I prefer the tape-type leash versus the rope for just this reason. Overall, a great choice and fit for our dog!
