This leash is bulky and heavy. There are two leads for this leash that you can use but it is no easy to remove one if it is not needed. The clasp that goes onto the collar is heavy and larger than needed so my small dog did not like it as it was so heavy to him. I did not like this leash for my small dog and do not see how this would be made for smaller dogs based on the weight of the leads and the leash itself.

This dog leash is OK. I wish the distance between the dog and the retractable part was a little bit shorter. Sometimes when they try to chase after something you need a little bit less slack. It’s cool. It has a light on it and it can have the option to have two dogs strap to it in which case I can see wanting to have a longer distance between the two dogs before they joined to be one line. Also has a little flashlight on it. Not too bright but good for night walks.

We have 4 small dogs in our home. It is always a hustle to walk the dogs. We had brought 1 to try it out first. It’s surprisingly easy to use and convenient with comfy handle. It also eliminates the tangling issue we have with the dogs. Since works so well, we are going to purchase another one. It is highly recommended.
