I love this leash! It’s perfect for both of my 22 lb and my 34 lb dogs. I love it so much that I just ordered another one so I have two. The handle is large but you get used to it. The length is great and so far the leash has held up well with jerky movements of my pups.

If I could give this zero stars I would. This may be a good leash but I would not know because the one sent to me was used, repaired with tape, dirty and frayed, handle was scraped up and the lock button was broken so it didn’t work. This product was definitely well used and retuned when it broke and should have been thrown out instead of “recycling” it. And wasting my time and holding my money until I return it. I hate returning it because it will just be sent to some other poor soul.

I’ve bought this leash twice and twice it has snapped when my dog got evicted and pulled hard. I liked it until it broke on me and then I got fed up. Once, maybe my fault. twice, and it’s the item quality.

I wanted a long lead to allow my small high-energy 8-lb papillon to run free in an open area in our condo complex. Leashes required, no fenced in areas to run. I had purchased 35ft of paracord and used that, but it tangled and twisted and became a bit of a pain. So I ordered this to allow her to run 30ft but still have the convenience of retracting. I have only used it once so far. Granted, it's large and a bit awkward to hold but it's reasonable and seems to work well. She can run and fetch and it retracts when she is recalled. I am hoping this will last a long time, as I did read a review that said that the retraction stopped working after a while. Time will tell. But for now, I'd give it 5 stars, even for a very small dog.

It's EXCELLENT, I have to say though I have a small dog, it's great and strong for my situation, puppy can run and jump and all and it's user friendly, BUT it is a bit heavy hahaha, but it's sooo worth it!

I have a pit/malamute that was repeatedly attacked at my previous residence and unfortunately has developed agression issues even towards other animals as well as my other dogs. Now living on a farm, it saddens me that he needs to be leashed while everyone else gets to run freely.He had a shorter retractable but when I stumbled upon this I had to try it. It's perfect...for him, heck, he didnt even use it to it's full length!Your dog MUST respect the leash for this to work properly otherwise forget it! I wouldn't use it on either of my gsd/great dane or full blood GSD as both are young and full of energy. They arent ready for this type leash.The only con I see is the color, white shows the dirt. Black or af the very least grey would be better
