This was a really good leash loved the light and how easy it extended and retractedOnly issue is it didn’t lastI have had it less than a year and the cord will not stay flat and when it retracts gets stuck. I have had to pull it out several times mid walks since dog cannot walk far enough to use the restroom

I'm coming up on exactly a year since i bought this product. I have a 15 lb chihuahua mix and I haven't had any complaints with the locking mechanism. I use it a lot, toggling it on and off, and it is 90% effective. Has not failed me in a dangerous situation. The bag holder is very useful and easy to change. The light is okay, just need to make sure its charged because the light seems to fade as the battery depletes. My one big issue is that around 4-6 months ago, the leash started to fray -- the fraying causes it to get caught on itself inside the device, so I have been dealing with the leash getting caught constantly, sometimes I have to pull super super hard to get the leash to become free. I'm going to buy another one because I do like the product, but if I'm able to find another product that does all these features in the future, I will likely be swapping if this product has the same fraying issue.

**Decent Retractable Leash, But Not Quite Perfect**This retractable leash works for now, but it has some drawbacks. The length is great, but the cord feels thin and narrow, making me worry it could break, especially since my pup likes to chew on leashes while gearing up for walks. I was really excited about the built-in light for winter walks, but it’s disappointingly dim, so I still need a flashlight for visibility. The USB rechargeable feature is convenient for avoiding battery replacements, but it might be the reason the light isn’t very bright. On the plus side, I love the built-in poop bag holder—it’s super handy! Still on the hunt for the perfect leash, though.

It works great. The light functions well and doesn't loss its charge to fast. The bag holder is great and helps keep them with at all times. The value for cost is worth the price. It is easy to use on walks and is sturdy. The cable is not thick so a bigger dog would be able to chew through it. My dog does not chew on leash because keep it out of reach.

Disappointing Product.I purchased this light-up leash expecting it to be a reliable tool for nighttime walks, but unfortunately, it turned out to be a big disappointment. It worked okay for about a month, but shortly after my return window closed, the light completely stopped working.To make matters worse, the retractable feature is poorly designed—it doesn’t roll up smoothly, making it frustrating to use.Now, I’m stuck with a product that doesn’t function as advertised and no way to return it. I hope the seller will do the right thing and offer a replacement, but as of now, I feel like I’ve wasted money on something that didn’t last. I would not recommend this leash to others based on my experience.

We bought this because it saves needing to carry a flashlight - especially when picking up after our dog at night. The unit is well constructed, but the LED light could be best described as a “glow lamp”. It works, but a brighter light would have made this much better.

This leash is built well. The strap glides in and out easily, and I like the attachable poop bag holder. The light us OK too. It's not nearly as bright as today's flashlights, but it's bright enough to see where you're walking and to find the dog poop in the dark. Definitely use it and charge it at least three times before returning it because the light seems dim. Strange as it seems, I found that the light does get brighter with use.

This is a bundle leash. It feels great in my hand, a sturdy but not heavy leash. The dog poop bag carrier is attached to leash, so no more extra things hanging out of it. The flashlight so convenient. Its bright and wide glow. I love that it's USB charged... No more heavy batteries. The leash chord is strong when being pulled. The only thing I qwould ask the manufacturer to change is the flashlight on/off switch. It turns on much too easily when I'm walking my dog or moving the leash around. Everything about this dog leash has been made convenient for the pet owner to use.
