Why do We Need 26ft Dog Leash
You can release your dog’s distance up to 26 feet in some cases (the most common length is about 16 feet). This allows your dog less confinement and more freedom of movement to sightsee as they get their daily steps in.
How Does A Retractable Leash Work
- To stop the leash: Press the brake button.
- To lock the brake: Press the brake button, then push the small brake forward.
- To release the brake lock: Push down the small brake and draw back the lock.
- Free Run: Always hold the leash by hand. As long as you do not use the brake button, the tape/rope will slide smootly in and out. Stopping Push down the brake button,the tape will be in a certain length.
- To recall the dog: Push dowm the brake button, and pull your arm toward you.

How To Use A Retractable Dog Leash Safely
- Start by using the leash in a safe, controlled environment. This will help your dog get used to it and prevent any accidents from happening.
- Get the right size leash for your dog. Leashes come in different lengths, so make sure you choose one that’s appropriate for your dog’s size and weight.
- Teach your dog to walk calmly on a leash before using a retractable leash. If your dog is not used to walking on a leash, they may get too excited and start pulling when they see the retractable leash.
- Be aware of your surroundings. If you’re walking in a crowded area, it’s important to keep your dog close to you. Otherwise, they may get tangled up in the cord or run into someone.
- Never let go of the handle. Even if your dog is walking calmly on the leash, never take your hand off the handle. If they suddenly start running, you’ll need to be able to stop the cord from extending.

My 100 lb French Mastiff enjoys her walks and believe it when I say, she ran after a squirrel and the leash held at full length. I know not to allow her to do that again hurt me more than the leash!!! Enjoy

This leash is ok for my older dog, who doesn't pull much while walking, but the handle is not ergonomically correct, and is quite uncomfortable with my younger, more reactive dog. There is a bumpy part that goes between your fingers that I just don't care for.
