This window stool router bit will cut stock up to 3/4" thick and 11/32" deep. The fillet is 3/32". The bit's overall length is 2-11/16" and the shank is 1/2".

The router bit I received is not made to route 3/4” thick boards...nothing I did would allow me to route the edge is was bought to do.

Works as intended but the design does not take into account that most lumber, trim lumber or any other, is not its nominal size. i.e. 1inch thick board is not 1inch. I was using this to route the ends of pre-made window sills, which come with straight ends. Instead of miter cutting and and attaching a piece at the ends, routing the ends would waste less lumber and be less hassle. I am able to adjust the depth to match the concave section of the design and most of the bull nose. I then sanded the edge to blend it in and the variance in shape is completely unnoticeable. So ultimately, the bit does what it's intended to and have had no problem with the quality of it so far, but I wish the manufacturer considered the actual size of lumber, not nominal sizes, when designing it. With a little extra effort it works. Maybe if I can find unfinished lumber which is actually 1in thick, I'll router the entire boards myself, but that will probably cost more than the finger jointed or MDF boards which are pre-made.

Worked great and was an exact match for the existing window sill I was copying. Still, for the life of me, I cannot figure out why it has the attached bearing. I can't see that it has any application whatsoever.
