The blades are sharp but they dull quickly. I also haven't dared to try the large ogee piece because after chucking it up in the router and switching it on at low RPM it did not seem all that well balanced, and I'm not willing to risk it. They're inexpensive, and that's reflected in the quality.

This is just a way to simplify your cabinet making. I know most people go with the Craig jig system but sometimes you want something a little more refined and that's where these bits come into play. Now of course you need some other equipment a router, a router table and some good hardwood. With all of those in hand you can make some pretty awesome cabinets for far less than it would cost to but the outright. These bits are well-made without any burrs or nicks and they cut quickly and efficiently. This is a great set if you plan on making your own cabinetryUntil we meet again-Off the Grid Ken

The bits arrived sharp and are descent quality considering the price. In comparing them to my Freud set they are definitely a budget set. However they can produce good results if you take light passes and set speed accordingly with your feed rate and the type of wood you're using. As with any router bit they can burn and produce tear-out if using them improperly or if they become dull and you might want to tune them up occasionally with small diamond files to keep them performing at their best.I do wish they were 1/2" shank however as opposed to 1/4" obviously for safety reasons. I have never had a 1/2" shanked router bit break on me myself but I have had quite a few 1/4" shanks fail over the years. So definitely make sure you're using the maximum protection when using these (safety glasses at the least but I would be more at ease using a face shield and ballistic apron and guards myself)That being said I was able to produce a door with good results with these and if you are looking to make a few doors on a budget I would say these will work well just make sure to be safe when using them. One note to make is that these do not have a back cutter on the panel bit. So if you are using the same thickness of material (you're rails and panel) you're panel will be proud of your frame. If this bothers you, you can remedy this by either slotting the back on the table saw which I do sometimes with these kinds of bits or using the panel bit on the backside with a light cut only using a portion of the bit which can also produce good results.

I'm just getting into woodworking again so I don't have a lot of experience with cabinet making. These seem comparable in quality as any other bits I have. I used them on some particule board scrap to set my cuts. They work pretty well.

I have a very small wood “shop” in my home that I use for small projects. I got this bit set not for cabinetry but instead for some picture frames I was making and it worked really well. The bits fit my hand router well and cut cleanly. I didn’t have any issues with build quality but will update this review if that changes.Overall I’m quite happy with it and will use it for lots of projects that require this kind of bit.

There not the highest quality in the world but the price reflects that already. The blades are sharp and make clean cuts tho. If you intend on using them for a large amount of lumber or hardwood I'd suggest getting some with a 1/2" shank instead of 1/4" but they've worked sofar.Smooth bearings help to keep it in place while cutting aswell.
