The items came in a sturdy wooden box with a cardboard sleeve showing the contents etc. The router bits appear to be well constructed and of good quality. Hoping to get chance to use them in the very near future

Made a set of wardrobe doors using these (first time routing). Bits seem to have lasted well, and even with a 1/4" shank seem to have done the job well - took extra care to do many shallow passes so as to not over stress the bits. Glad these were available as only had use of a 1/4" router and didn't want to have to buy a new one

This would be a great bit set if the machining was more accurate. I had to do some hand sanding and fitting to get the face frame to a nice tight fit; straight off the router table it leaves gaps. For what I had to do it was worth the money. Seems to be well balanced, no noticeable vibration, and bearings are smooth. but without better machining accuracy I can only give it three out of five stars, otherwise I would have given it 5 out of 5.

I bought a set of these cutters despite the negative reviews figuring I could send them back if they were out of balance. Well, I received the first set and immediately took them to the router table and installed the rail cutter into the router exactly as it should be. Bottoming it out and then moving it 1/8" off the bottom. Tightened the collet down well and set every thing up and turned it on. It literally shook the whole table until it was walking around the floor. I turned it off and install the stile cutter the same way. It was much better balanced and so I made a test cut. It cut smooth and clean. So, then I initiated a replacement because of the out of balance rail cutter. Amazon being great as always, immediately processed the return and shipped the new set. I figured that I'd give them one more chance to get a balanced set before I asked for a refund. The new set arrived and I again immediately took it to the router. I installed the rail cutter into the router just as I did to begin with and this time it was incredibly smooth. The router didn't even move not installed into the table. So I then installed the stile cutter and it was well balanced as well.I then cut a test set in some scrap wood to see how the fit was, and low and behold, it was great. The rail and stile was tight enough that it is an interference fit and has to be gently forced together. The edges are clean, and the profile has no gaps.To sum it up, once you get a well balanced set they work beautifully.

I'm very happy with these. They are quite sharp and are holding an edge. They are cutting very accurately and boards fit together well. I'm using with a Porter Cable Trim router mounted in a plywood table top and am finding them very easy to use. I know cheaper routers can cause bit problems so I'm wondering if that is some of the other reviewers problems. Porter Cables are always rock solid with no extra vibrations. I'm quite happy with the set. I used to work at a high end wood shop and was totally spoiled for tools. Now I just work on fun projects for the house and display cases for my artwork for shows and store displays. They really are made for 7/8 to 1 inch stock. They will work on 3/4 inch stock but somewhere top or bottom ends up being a little thin. Not ideal but it does work. The slot easily holds standard Luan Plywood but it is just a little bit loose. Which may be good when humidity comes in summer. I also have a large Yonico boxed set of bits and they are also holding up well. All have been a very good buy for the price. I'm happy with them in first six months of use.

I finally decided to buy these bits even amid some of the negative reviews. Granted, I have only done a couple of test pieces, but I haven't experienced any of the problems stated in the reviews. I ran two sets of test pieces on some so-so quality 3/4" plywood. I decided to push it and went full depth on one pass. It was clean and the fit was great. Very little vibration. These bits handled the stress and the cut nicely. I am not a professional, so would say these bits would be best for the hobbyist who isn't going to use them everyday. I plan on doing around 16 doors with them. Happy with the cut, the fit, and the quality.

These bits met my expectations very well. Using such a bit with a 1/4" shank is just absurd in the first place, but, they managed quite nicely. Any wood worker worth his word will tell you to make multiple passes when using any bit type. I made four per run with every piece and they're looking out of the box new. Well worth it. I will be buying from this company in the future.

Got these and was wondering how they would work when most others seem to be about twice the price. Based upon my reading, and experience these are not really meant fo extensive heavy duty work, but I am using these as a hobby for a small current project and these do exactly what I need! The two cut accurately and the parts fit together precisely. Take your time and make the cuts in a couple of passes rather than a single pass and VIOLA! they get the job done. If you are a hobbiest, only occasionally using them, these are just the trick!!! Well worth it.
