The oil tank has a 2.8 oz capacity. And the battery takes an hour to recharge with the included charger, so you can get back out there quickly. I had bought a Worx battery operated hand saw and liked so much that I bought 3 more for my sons and a friend. This pole saw is well made and is very versatile-well balanced. Customer service is also A++. Very polite and knowledgeable helpers. Needed a minor part and they send me the whole pole saw since it was under warranty , no questions asked no charge and free shipping in 4 days. I am really pleased with Worx saws and professional attitude of the customer service reps. moreover, the battery fits all other the products. I highly recommend Worx products.

A "GREAT" TOOL IF YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS & OPERATE IT PROPERLY BY LETTING THE SAW DO THE WORK OF CUTTING WITHOUT ANY KIND OF "PUSHING" ON THE TOOL !A "GREAT" TOOL IF YOU KNOW HOW TO USE PROPERLY !GOOD JOB WORX !

I snagged this on Prime day to help me cut back my palms and this pretty much eliminates having to pull out a ladder. Very happy with this saw. Seems to be made well and the battery life so far has been good. A good purchase.

Used in to trim some large tree branches around home. Power full and cuts as stated Battery lasts a long time and fits my other Worx blower and grass trimmer. A couple of my neighbours have also purchased one after they saw my unit. You can send me a commission cheque direct please.

I've owned many chainsaws in my life. I fell trees in British Columbia for twenty years. This pruner has two flaws. The chain quality is lacking so i got a Stihl chain. The "ratchet tensioner" doesn't keep the chain tensioned. That's this pruner's main problem. I also do welding and metal fabrication so maybe I can remedy this problem and if I do, I'll add to this review. Wish me luck.....

This saw is sitting in my car with the chain hanging off of it. When I opened the package I noticed it looked like it had been used. There was NO sheath to cover the chain in the box, and I see videos with a strap, mine had no strap. I put it together with the awful instruction (which screw do you take off?), but I got it so it was running until I tried to cut a branch. On a teeny branch, the saw just jiggled until the chain came off. I re-tightened it so hard that I needed a wrench to loosen the large knob again when the chain fell off on my second try. Third, and fourth tries, the chain fell off again within 10 seconds. Each time I fully tensioned it.I am not experienced with chainsaws but it looked easy and got good reviews. I now see that you MUST cut in a place where you can rest the chain, strength alone will not keep it in place. You also need to cut fairly thick branches at fulcrums or else the whole saw just bounces until the chain falls off. I will be returning this ASAP.

Like: lightweight, battery (no pulling cords endlessly to start finicky gas motors), easy to service (so far)Dislike: Initially had to put the chain back on after less than 10 seconds use. Sometimes will still have to reset the chain but, maybe (hopefully) it's a 'breaking in' thing?Battery life isn't bad but it's better than other things I've used in the pastFeels unbalanced, even with battery on it's a bit heavy on the saw end. Perhaps relocating the handle would help but it's not possible to move it.Overall a nice investment and we are finally able to do some tree-limbing that's been hard to do with a regular pole saw (hand pull and push).

EDIT #2 Received replace ent saw as promised. Haven't used it much, but it seems to be working well. The chain tensioner does take a little repeated fiddling with, but thee saw seems to do a nice job at trimming small branches. I wouldn't want to us this to cut something more than 4 or 5 inches, but, otherwise, it's a very useful tool. It has already last longer than the first one I received, but that isn't saying much. I will edit again after I have more time using it.EDIT** I was angry when I gave this one star, product failed after less than 2 minutes of use so I felt justified. After writing the review, I called their customer service, and left my number for call back.24 hours later I received a call from the nicest lady ever! After going over the details, and getting my info she said a new saw would be shipped to me, I just had to pay shipping. Absolutely excellent customer service!! Thank you Porsche!! I have changed my original 1 star rating to a 3 star just because they were so responsive! I will rate even higher if the new saw gets here and works!!ORIGINAL POSTFaulty product. Bought it in October last year, and today is the first time I have used it. Cut one small branch, and it quit working. Tried with two different batteries, and even took the bar off, nothing. That's what I get for buying something and not testing it immediately. Money down the drain

Was tired of dragging cords around. Didn't want gas. Bought this based on reviews. Glad I did. It is a little heavy due to the battery. And the balance is a little more toward the cutting head than what is comfortable. But none of that matters when you put this puppy to work. Battery charged in just a couple of hours. Used it for well over an hour on a single charge. Took a little bit of effort to go through some of the larger 6+ inch limbs. But made short work of anything smaller. The extension is really nice. Not quite sure it is 13 feet as advertised. Maybe 13 feet from the tip of the blade to the end of the handle. The auto chain tension is a big plus. And the three position head really comes in handy. I have seen a few people complaining about it not coming with barre oil. Seriously, you can pick that up at any home improvement store with a power tool section. This is the first Worx product I have purchased. Based on it's performance, I would not hesitate to buy others.
