A bit of a workout as expected for any other product like these. Cuts really well. Still trying to understand the harness, I think it should be redesinged. For now I'm using all my arm stenght to manage.

I used it once and was surprised to see rust on the chain and the chain teeth (gear)/I have a hand chain saw and never see a rusted chain or the chain teeth/too late to return it/don't buy it!

The saw works incredibly well for its small size. Will cut through some good sized branches. The power cord gets in the way, a little bit. I wish it was cordless, but all in all it’s a nice tool for the price

We had two hurricanes come through this area and the branches from the trees were blowing on the roof of the house driving me nuts. I ordered this during the storm and it arrived a few days later. It took less than an hour and the job was done. The saw works perfectly and I'm able to use it with my bad arms. I was impressed with the quality and the ability that this saw provided. I would recommend it to anyone as long as you have power readily available. Make sure the proper size extension cord is used to protect the motor. One other thing, I like the automatic oiling of the chain as I cut the limbs. That is a great feature!

So far, so good. Used this on a few projects around the yard so far and it cuts great. The fast cutting really saves my neck. I for sure will not be going back to a non-mechanical pole saw.

Pole saw works great. Allows for staying on the ground. And not up on a ladder trying to trim higher up branches. When extended out and reaching up. It is a bit heavy. It does have a strap. That you hang it from around your neck. Which helps carry the weight. I cut branches off that were up to 8 inches. The great thing too is after you drop branches. You can cut up on ground without bending over like you would with a regular chainsaw. What I did mostly was start cutting the branches off towards the tip. And then cut off in short lengths. Dropping each short length. Then if needed on the ground cut up anything that was too long.Works great.

To be honest, I’ve only used it a couple of times. Should have ordered it earlier in the year, it’s turned hot now so outdoor work is on the back burner. Anyway, it sliced through a few oak branches better than I expected. Largest I’ve cut was about 4-5” thick. Cut it in sections and once down, cut into smaller sections. It worked well. It’s not quite as heavy as I had tested using an 8lb dumbbell tied to a pruning pole. However, I’m glad I did not go with any that are heavier. I had considered a 10”, but decided the extra wt was not work it. Fully extended is a bit awkward regardless, which I expected. The shoulder strap is a bit awkward as well, I used it both with and without. Could be helpful once adjusted. So far no signs of oil leakage while it’s laying flat on the garage floor. Possibly it might leak if stored vertical with oil seeping out a vent hole maybe. The chain tightening knob was easy to use. Too firmly tightening the extension lock can make it difficult to loosen. First time I used some channel licks to get it to loosen. Next time I just didn’t tighten it as hard and it loosened up just fine. I have a 50ft extension cord and outdoor outlets so no big deal to use the cord. But I do see the attraction of a battery model, just for me the extra wt was not worth the convenience since my usage is not a lot nor far from the outlets. If I had a large lot to attend to, I’d go for the battery version. For now I’m good with this model.

Easy to use, the chain was installed on the bar with ease. Great quality, well made sharp chain out of the box with low vibration. Highly recommend it. Congrats Oregon on superior product.
