Man this endmill has impressed me. I’ve used it about 3-4 times a week for last four months straight. Eats through aluminum. Still razor sharp, not even slight discoloration on the coating. I went back through my Amazon purchases to find this so I could write a review to hopefully help someone else on the fence about purchasing it.

This endmill is probably good for a hobbyist or somewhere that a quality endmill is not needed. The price point matches the quality. So you get what you pay for. A pretty but nearly useless endmill. It’s been a long time since I’ve used a cutter with this bad of a grind. Soooooo much tool pressure I could feel it thru the machine.

I've used endmills on Amazon which leave a significantly better finish. These are acceptable for roughing.

These are awesome for aluminum machining. I have found none better for the price. Fast cutting.

I use these for aluminum and they work great. Good chip removal and clean cuts.

These end mills work really well. Having my spindle speed at 5,000 RPM and My feet rate being at 70 and using the same end mill about 39 times they are still pretty sharp and leave a good finish

I used these in a trim router to mill aluminum and they worked great. Very clean cuts, no issues with heat or chipping.

These endmills are incredibly well-made for the price. Each looks like an expensive jewelry piece and works just as well as it looks. DLC-coated bits have finally become affordable for hobbyists like myself, which I consider a major technological milestone. I don't think it is possible to find better bits of this type anywhere else at this price. Highly recommended.Update:I was overzealous with a feed rate so one of the bits broke at the shaft. There was about 5mm of the shaft left, so the remaining piece could still be secured in the chuck. I decided to do some test runs to see its capabilities, and here are a couple observations I'd like to share.First, don't use these bits as a conductive probe on Z axis for anodized aluminium or any other hard material. The tips of the flutes are so sharp and so microscopically thin that they are very likely to break off before electric contact with the workpiece is established. DLC coating might also play a role, impending conductivity. The endmill still cuts after that (and pretty nicely I might add), only the cuts are not as super clean as before. More than sufficient for roughing, but not for the finishing job.Second, I have yet to see it clogged by any material, even the softest, most gooey aluminium I could find in my workshop, and even on high RPM. I didn't use any coolant or lubricant in my test runs. The caking just doesn't build up no matter what, thanks to slippery coating. So I am starting to believe the RPM and feed rate could be increased at least twofold compared to regular carbide or even TiCN/Ti-Al covered bits. Still more tests are needed to establish optimal cutting parameters, but the results are so far very promising.Overall, the more I'm using these bits the more I am impressed by them. A real hidden gem as far as I can tell.
