I'm using this end mill with a Delta floor model drill press. I am using a table clamp with articulating jaws. It works pretty well. Of course, a dedicated mill would do a better job but I can't justify buying one.

Could use more details about the tool but diameter is measuring out at an acceptable 6.34mm or .2496" which is roughly 1/4". I have not checked the runout yet which to me is one of the most important aspects of an end mill. I will report back when I have the numbers but for now my only complaint is a lack of cutter data.I have found most companies don't bother offering any specifics on cutters which makes the job of loading the tool into my cam tool library painful at best. I also have to guesstimate based on generalizations about what speeds and chip load to run the tool at which makes no sense as information is cheap to include and would go along way to giving lower end tooling some credibility and possibly improve the finish and extend the tools life.

Used this bit to mill out my 80% AR-15 lower receiver, it's very durable and wants to cut! I made slow gradual passes, and I ended up messing one of my lowers up, my chuck wasn't tight enough and this bit wanted to keep digging. I tightened it up and it's worked great ever sense! I can't complain!

I bought this endmill bit to drill out a polymer part that I am working on. Cut it like butter, thanks to the sharp bit and drilling in polymer. Have not tried it on metal yet. I expect it will do its job. I will update if I find any different.

While I am not a machinist by trade I am also not a total greenhorn. I used this bit for milling some aluminum forgings, it worked perfect! It made a smooth cut, left a nice finish with no chatter. Since my machine does not have cutting fluid spray I was quite happy. Bits come packed in individual hard plastic cases and each is labeled.Great for what I wanted it to do. I can't speak to more demanding uses as aluminum is pretty soft.
