They just will not cut hardened steel, tried both on a high speed steel dril bit broken off in a hole. They just got red hot and dulled. If need to cut hardened steel buy a better end mill. I had my mill running a 3600 rpm as the are supposed to be carbide, what a joke.

This carbide end mill is garbage. Doesn't cut into aluminium and broke instantly. I remove 1/32 deep material with 6in/min speed. I have usa made carbide now and they do the job way better because they actualy are sharp.

Starts giving me bad edge finish after only a few minutes of slotting in a galvanized mild steel sheet.
