I have an old garage door. This keeps the water out of the garage! It wasn’t very expensive and super easy to install.

The product seems heavy duty but due to the flat packing it’s really hard to get the seal to return to its “O” shape. I am hoping in time it will find its shape…it’s only been two days. On the second door I laid it out the night before nd put a pVC pipe through it to open it up but it didn’t help at all. After the fact I saw they recommend soaking it in hot water to help reshape it but I already have it installed. I wonder if a heat gun would help now that it’s installed? Update: Still flat after 3 days of trying various ways to round it out.

May old seal was not in good shape and the winter was very cold so I ordered this replacement and to my surprise I was able to install it in only a few minutes while it was believe zero outside.And the seal is quite good on our uneven pebble stone floor

Took less than 20 minutes to install with my husband and I both working on it. Just need a spray bottle with water and a little Dawn dish soap to lube up the track and you’ll be trucking right along. It fits perfectly, we have a great seal under the door, and it was long enough that we had to trim just a little bit to make it a perfect fit - easy enough to cut through with regular scissors!

Once the seal was ready to be installed this product works great. You will need to prep the seal prior to installation due to it coming rolled up. I actually installed mine in one hour. I used 3/4” pex to fill the seal up and creat the round affect. Closed the door. Waited for two days and pulled the pex out. Now it holds its shape. Easy peasy. Biggest concern is making sure you purchase the right seal for the right retainer. If you don’t understand this part I recommend you hire a handyman or door guy.

Was shipped flat. My garage door will not shut because of this issue. It’s a real pain to install but it’s the right size. Hopefully the High Desert heat will help the shape.

This product arrived flat, hard and not malleable. It is not round as shown in the picture. I have worked with it for a week to try to soften it up enough to get it to the point where it will make contact with the garage floor with no visible daylight. Because it is flat and rigid, it kicks out when it hits the floor. I don’t know if it was just old or if it should normally come rolled in a flat roll that refuses to reshape to the round, but it has been more work than I thought it would be to install and get it the floor correctly. The point of a gasket seal is to be sealed so it doesn’t show daylight or be drafty. It does not meet my expectations.
