I returned this product because my dog was so excited to get to the food it ended up all over the floor. Not the bowl for us! And a pain to clean!

This bowl works nicely to slow down my boxer when she eats. It fits nicely in her elevated bowl holder.

Dog ends up chasing this dish all over the kitchen. Way to lightweight could use some real beer around bottom to try and hold in one place.

So this feeder is very sturdy and very nice but it was too wide for my boy’s feeding tray . So just make sure measure before buying . In the flip side it is worth the purchase.

This slow-feeder bowl is decent and does seem to slow our puppy down some. It causes an aggressiveness, however, grounded in frustration, I assume. Food gets flung all over outside the bowl in a sort of frantic effort by our pup to get to it, causing her to almost knock over the feeder as she maneuvers around the bowl. I have better luck with the simple moat-style slow feeder, but this Niner is somewhat effective - the messiness notwithstanding. I will, however, never buy another product from Neater Pets. They are a company who thinks of their own name before they think of their customer base. It took me 30 minutes and two fingernails to get the labels off the side of the bowl and it's still sticky. This bowl is something that gets washed twice daily and the first thing that dissolves with washing is the outer paper, leaving the sticky adhesive for the end user to have to handle for weeks. In addition, the bowl slides around in the raised feeder as part of normal dog use, further loosening the label and exposing the residue. This is a hard plastic and I'm not sure how it would hold up if it were dropped. It seems like it might crack, but I can't say that for sure. It's unfortunate the company doesn't put more thought into their labelling. Labels don't need to be adhered front and center.

We have a boxer and if you have one, you know they eat fast. I got this for our boxer dog and now she’s eating a little less fast. I do recommend it if you are looking for something to slow your dog from eating fast. And it is less spills.

The other slow feeder that I purchased didn't slow the feeding time down like I thought it should. I had seen this feeder at same time I purchased the 1st one so I decided to purchase this slow feeder as it looked like it was designed different. This feeder has extended the length of eating time mmensely. Great feeder. I had never used a slow feeder before so wasn't sure what to buy. I would recommend this feeder over any designs that I looked at.

It's not going to slow a fast eater down too much. It needs something more to help that part. Also it doesn't fit in our particular raised feeder, but that's not a huge thing.
