I purchased this set of slow feeder bowls after my male kitten ate his food too fast and threw up. I have been using these bowls for both my kittens for the past month and never had any issues. The bowls are great quality, nice and heavy, and machine washable. Love them! 10/10 would buy another set

One of my cats started eating food too fast and vomiting. I tried a raised feeder thinking it was leaning down that was causing it. That didn't help. I tried a couple other slow feeders that were deeper, and he struggled to get the food and then just gave up. I might have been able to wait it out and get him to try again, but I wanted him to eat. I ended up using a muffin tin until I found these. Since there's 2, I used one for each of my cats. They figured it out right away, and they ate all the food. It did slow them down enough to avoid problems. They're easy to wash in the dishwasher and by hand. They were inexpensive. I'm very happy.

Got these sturdier slow feeders after my cats started EATING their silicone slow feeders. These definitely slow down these kitties' eating habits more than a plate, but because these are relatively small with less bumps than the typical silicone mat, the kitties eat faster from these than the silicone mats. However, they will not eat these bowls, so that's a big win.

Wish it was ceramic, but the plastic is hard and heavy. Not as porous as some of my personal dishware, so good enough! It’s way bigger than I thought, which is a plus!I feed ~3oz servings wet food.I have a smart fat cat who licked this bowl clean in about 3 minutes. Slowed him down marginally, but I think it helped him take smaller bites. His stupider, less fat brother took about 5 minutes. Brother doesn’t have a barfing problem, I still think it was good enrichment for him. He’s also a tipper - this bowl is stable and isn’t easily overturned.Definitely better than anything you can find at a pet store. Great value.

My cat doesn't even chew.. she sucks everything up whole and throws it up a few hours later.I originally bought a plastic slow feeder, but she couldn't figure out how to eat with the tall grooves.When I ordered this, it was so easy to clean, was made of good material, and was great quality.She is already eating so much slower and doesn't have any trouble at all!This product is amazing, I would definitely recommend buying it and will buy this again if I ever need a replacement!

Nice heavy slow feeders. They have stability so when my cats are being fed this slow feed items don’t move.

I bought these specifically to slow down the rapid eating of a young feral cat who arrived at our back door a couple of months ago. I'd feed a handful of cat kibble into a regular cat dish and for the first couple of days, that little boy ate so fast he urped all the kibble up within a few minutes of powering through the small amount of chow I had given to him. The first day I used this dish, he was still eating rapidly, but he has def slowed down now and no longer horks up the chow. Once he, and my indoor cats as well, learned how to scoop up the kibble in between the ridges, the dish didn't quite slow them down, but one thing is certain, it is definitely a dish that requires a slower eating pace. For the price I paid, I'm happy and still might get two more of them. Cleaning is easy, but have only hand washed. I'm not sure how they'd hold up to going through the dishwasher over and over.

Bought this because my new kitten inhales his food and then goes to the other cats dish for more. Needed to find something that helped him slow down his eating and let the other cats eat uninterrupted. This was the perfect solution! Product is easy to clean and sturdy. Has the perfect weight to it as well so it doesn’t slide on the floor! Love it!!

Buscaba un plato de comida que disminuyera sólo un poco la velocidad en la que mi gato comía para evitar vómitos. Otros platos de comida tienen espacios demasiado pequeños que hacen que los gatos tarden demasiado en comer, y este sólo disminuye la velocidad un poco, lo suficiente para que mi gato ya no vomite lo que acaba de comer. Estoy muy satisfecho con el producto.

These were of better quality than I expected. My cat appears to throw up less eating from these bowls than it did eating from a regular bowl
