Omg this is the perfect bowl to keep our kitty from gobbling his food then promptly throwing up. Plus it’s tall so he eats sitting up not bending over. And it’s ceramic so it’s sturdy and doesn’t slide around when he’s eating.

I purchased two of these dishes, one for each of our cats, although they like to eat out of each other's dishes lately! One of cats inhales the dry food, then he would vomit fairly soon. I purchased these especially because the were elevated and a slow feeder dish, and the description said they particularly created them to stop vomiting. It seems to work, so far! It slows him down eating, plus the elevation allows the food to pass down his throat easier. He hasn't vomited food since we started using them, about a week ago. I think he thinks there isn't enough food in the dish if the white " fish" shapes show, but he is getting used to it. A couple of days he kept leading us to the bowl and meowing, but that is improving. They are well made, sturdy and so far the cats haven't knocked them over. I don't think they would unless they were playing rough nearby and bumped it over. They are easily washed out as well. I think they are a good value for the price. I would definitely recommend them.

MY SAVANAH cat eats so m7ch moreslower and healthier for his digestive system.Since Christmas after he started eating from thiz raised bowl, he rarely throws up and eats so much more slowly!What a difference

It did fine for its use but it isn’t my favorite slow feeder. The bumps are spaced out kind of odd and the glass doesn’t sound nice when it hits her teeth. I bought her a new one with the bumps a bit closer together and not glass. It seems when the bumps are far a part like this one my cat can’t decide if she should take a big chomp still or not. Just odd spacing. I gave it 4 stars rather than 3 because it could be a her thing? And because it’s really cute, looks nice in the house and cleans easy. But the spacing just doesn’t work for her.

I have a Rufio. Rufio likes to use his jaw as a shovel and swallow shovels full of his food. Wet or dry he doesn’t discriminate. To prevent this I purchase suction cup lick matts. -0000/10 Those things were awful to clean, awful to remove off of what ever surface you stuck them too. Just awful and it didn’t take him long to realize he could bite them off. That is where this dish comes into play. Solved his eating disorder and solved my cleaning struggles. It’s very sturdy and works as it should. I will be purchasing a second one.

Edit: Well, change the number of dropped bowls up to 4! Good thing I love these cats, and this company, because I’m buying *another* bowl today. Sometimes I think these bowls just jump out of my hands, lol. But they do such a good job in slowing them down from inhaling their food. The height and angle are perfect.I had purchased ceramic cat bowls from this company before, that were smooth, and set up to control their eating by the angle of 15%, and the height. I have 2 cats, last time I ordered different colors, just because they were available. ;)These bowls, both before and now, are good for cats, nice height to them, had the right angle for proper eating so they could eat without getting air inside , and were less prone to vomit The bowls are shallow enough so their whiskers stay out it, which cats, especially flat faced cats, do not like..Of course they are ceramic, the best material for bowls for cats, it won’t give them “ dirty chin, or black chin “, which is basically black heads on their chins. Plastic bowls will do that.The only downside to this particular model, is on the bottom, (see second picture) there are only holes for drainage of water, when you wash them in the dishwasher. So there’s nothing to really grab onto, unlike previous ones. So unfortunately, I dropped one of mine before we could even use it! ;( One cat is using the older one, while the other gets this one. The one that gets daily medication, obviously. And she’s quite adept at pocketing the pill and spitting it out later, the brat!All in all, I love the brand, and these bowls. I was looking for a ceramic bowl that had the slow feeding features, and was happy to find that my favorite company now made them. If I could stop dropping them, that would be great. So far, 3 have shattered, though technically 1️⃣ is the cat’s fault. He walked by it, and it was in his way. It was a different brand, so maybe he didn’t like it. I bought it before I found this brand.The company makes great cat products, though I have never had to talk to them. Can’t blame them for my clumsiness, though the last one from this order fell right out of the box, because I couldn’t grab it in time.I hope they will reconsider changing the bottom of the bowls on their next production line.I highly recommend this product!

I like the look, the sturdiness, the design, and the concept. I bought it to help my slightly overweight male neutered 8 yr old indoor-only cat slow down with his meals. It worked great the first day. After the 2nd day, it wasn't slowing him down anymore. I returned the dish and bought a kitty puzzle feeder instead. The puzzle feeder slows both of our cats down and makes them work for their kibble.

The Cat Feeder Bowl is elevated higher and at an angle to help the Cat Health bending their necks down to low. It was suggested to me to also help slow down the eating so the cats don't eat to fast and get sick. The bowl has little ridges inside the bowl to make it more challenging for the cat to eat slower. It's very easy to wash out, and it's weight is great and it's built strong. The color is white and gray.
