My young cat just adopted has always been a very ravenous and fast eater. I would go after my other cats food that eats much slower. I invested in this to see if he would slow down and take his time eating and not jump over to my other cats bowl while she was eating. It definitely has worked for him. I feed him twice a day in this bowl. It's very sturdy sort of heavy and a little timely to clean due to its "glass peaks and valleys" but it's all I use for this guy. Highly recommend if your cat or dog scarfs down their food!

Works great to slow kitten down who is a very voracious eater. Up high enough to help protect neck. Very durable and lightweight the design is cute but can be difficult to clean as any slow feeder is but not awful

The previous owner of my cat overfed him so he is used to gulping his food without chewing much. Not only that, but I’ve noticed with normal bowls he tends to throw up quite often due to stuffing his mouth. This bowl has so far 100% saved me from having to clean up cat throw up and has definitely improved his eating habits. It’s quite funny because I can tell he hates how long it takes him to eat now, as he tries to get me to fill his bowl again once he’s about halfway done, but it’s really for his own good and health. I’d also like to mention that the quality is quite nice and isn’t harsh on my cat’s neck like normal bowls typically are. Best purchase!

These are easy to clean as long as you let them soak right after mealtime. My cats haven't thrown up yet and it doesn't seem too difficult for them to eat out of.

I've been using this a couple months now and it's actually pretty good bowl. It does what it's supposed to do as far as slowing down my cat's eating. I love that it's raised as well. The only thing I dislike is the holes on the bottom of the base that are easy to get water inside when washing it. Other than that, I'm happy with it.

My guzzling dachshund was eating too fast and making herself sick, this slows her down by about 15 minutes and stopped her being sick. It always looks so good

I like that the feeders are sturdy and made out of ceramic. It's a great height for the cats to access their food without putting stress on their necks and whiskers. It does slow down the eating especially for one of my cats who tends to throw up his food on occasion. Although the feeders are a bit pricey, they are well worth it for my fur babies.

the delivery was very fast. I bought this because my cat eats too quickly and has some hairball issue. Unfortunately she doesn’t like to use this bowl. I think because her teeth keep hitting the fish model inside the bowl, and it seems to be bothering her. so.. it looks good and ceramic which is good quality but sadly Maybe she not gonna use this.

They got used to it. Time went slowly while they figured out how to eat around the peaks. It has helped with the vomiting, though, which is always a good thing. And it does help them to eat slower, also a good thing. They are well weighted, so the cats can’t tip them over but that’s not really their style anyway so I wasn’t worried about that. My robot vacuum has not managed to tip them over either so I would say they’re a success.

Good idea but the bowls are heavy, hard for me to grab. I have 4 cats and not one can reach the food in the middle of the bowls as the fish obstacles are too high. I wouldn’t recommend
