just what I needed for my high energy kitten i make a lick may and throw it in the freezer for bed time. Though she doesn’t fall asleep right after like I thought it would tire her out it keeps her busy long enough for me to fall asleep and she lovesss them. I usually use a gravy based wet food and throw some treats on it before filling the rest with water pop it in the freezer for 20 minutes and it’s ready. It’s also a large size perfect for high energy kittys that you just need to keep busy sometimes 😅

It had never occurred to me that having whiskers makes high sided bowls, possibly, annoying. Good reason to try these. Cat seems perfectly happy with silicone. The patterns stop spillage. My cat is not greedy and has showed no sign of persistence to lick the bits. The surface doesn’t wipe clean - need to brush in water. Probably best for a hungry guzzler. Recommend

The lick mat was great for a rescue kitten that was eating too fast and making herself sick. It slowed her down so she could digest her food and not get ill from eating too fast.

The lick mat was a wonderful idea and I really felt I saw a difference in my cat's energy. However, black spots began to appear on the mat despite my thorough cleaning with both a scrub brush and sponge. I was warned about the possibility of mold due to the tiny crevices so I was hyper vigilant and aware. I purchased this product on September 10th and my cat didn't even get a month of use out of it! Very disappointed.

The finish on this makes it literally so easy to clean, just rinses right off, or if food has dried onto it, a 3-minute water soak and it rinses right off. I bought Casper and it was way too small, my cats big tongue couldnt lick it out, so I got Felix and boy was it better. the big ridges slow her down so much but she can still get all the food out-- i wasted so much more food with Casper, and waste almost none now with Felix.**Update: hasn't puked literally a SINGLE time since getting this.**Pro tip: put this on an elevated feeder (5ish inches offthe ground) and you will never have a pukey cat again

This mat did its just perfectly. I have a cat that will scarf down food and occasionally vomit because of his speed. This slowed him down to a point that even my super slow eater finished before him while using a regular bowl! After he decided he was finished my other cat came right over and finished up the rest for him, taking his time to explore the mat. I am very happy both my cats enjoyed this purchase. The only thing I was disappointed about what that I was looking at the other lickimat available, but must've accidently clicked this one somehow. Thats my bad haha. I would recommend this mat though. Next feeding I'll also be placing a larger mat underneath as my brute made a little bit of a mess pushing his food around haha.
