I bought this to replace the pump in my AIO aquarium sump. The old one was loud and gave out after a year. So far this Sicce pump is good and quiet, well worth the cost.

40+ year fish keeper. This pump is on a Waterbox 15 gallon peninsula aquarium. The Waterbox pump lasted maybe 2 weeks. This little Syncra nano is a powerhouse! Been going strong almost a year now.

Bought this for my salt water mixing bucket. Only used it for around 24 hours every two weeks and it stopped working after a couple months.Purchased a wave maker instead that has way better flow and should last much longer. My advice is to find another pump regardless of what you’re using it for. Even if it did last, the flow was horribly low to begin with.

I put this above my co² diffuser to help move the most around my tank. I am using it in a 20 long and I have it angled to help move the co² and create some surface agitation to improve gaseous exchange. The pump is perfect for this size tank and silent. It did however pull in my sparkling gourami and kill him. Hasn't had any effect on the harlequin rasboras or the CPDs but I am going to "hide" it in some course filter foam the next big water change I do.Suction cups have done a good job so far securing the pump but I'm probably going to end up attaching waterproof magnets to lock it in place.So far so good, I'll update if there are any issues.

It worked for about five minutes. Sicce pumps in general are very quiet and high quality but this one is not strong and not much head power. It’s good for a five gallon tank.

The suction is weak, but is very quiet. A great pump for nano and macroalgae tanks.
