I bought 3 of these pumps and have been using them in my hydroponics garden for more than 6 months now. They came with fittings to cater to different uses. The price is affordable and they seem to be built very strong. They are so quiet that the only sound I here in my garden is the water falling. The adjustable flow rate makes it more than just functional.

Me gusta mucho la marca vivosun para mis acuarios, uso esta referencia para el Sump de mi acuario de peces disco. La compré como backup por si me falla la que tengo instalada en el Sump. Me han funcionado muy bien, silenciosas y de poco consumo energético.

400 gph - Installed this in an outdoor goldfish pound with about 200 gallons- Six weeks ago & like it.Works well - no problems. My gauge says 18.1 watts, not 15 as indicated.

This is a great product with a few exceptions. Overall, it is efficient and I have not had too many mechanical problems. Although my biggest complaints has to be the cheap plastic attachments that screw in. They tell you what size it is to replace them. Which is a 3/8 screw and usually a half to 3/4 of an inch barb. That being said, I have snapped four of the provided pump adapters. Which led me to purchasing brass, which works so much better. Before I go I forgot to add that this pump is very quiet.

Another good product from VIVOSUN, turning into my go to for entry/mid range pumps. Seeing a big jump in quality this year from VIVOSUN. A great pump with lots of good option love the oxygen piece. Much more quiet than my 600gph.Only thing I thought I should mention is that the barb connectors on the pump is not .5 or .75 npt so be aware if you have pans to use other fittings

I got this to make a waterfall for above mu aquarium. I hadn't purchased a pump like this before so I didn't know how strong the pump needed to be for what I wanted to do but this one is way more powerful than I need. It's good though, as I bought another smaller version for my aquarium and am inspired to make an indoor pond now.

Needed for indoor water fountain. Works just as it should but not strong enough to shoot it up the back of my water fountain for enough water to run down the front as I want it to. My fault for not getting little stronger one.

Very robust, just keeps working. I use it for a birdbath with a 3 foot rise, plenty of power, I actually had to use it at the lower setting.Easy to clean, takes a little time to prime.

This is the second Vivosun pump I purchased. After using the first I had nothing but positive things to say and actually wrote a positive review,however the pump did not even last me 10 months (use for aquarium). I decided to purchase this second vivosun model I have only opened the package today and used it today as I needed it! This pump does not work. I have bought a quality submersible pump from my local home hardware store which I use to drain and clean my hot tub only. Never ran into any issues with functionality. Best invest in a quality pump these Vivosun ones are not it unfortunately.I am so upset as I was hoping this brand new pump would work for its first use however it only caused me to put my discus fish at risk. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GIVE YOURSELF PEACE OF MIND. DO NOT BUY.

I got this to do water changes on my 10 gallon betta tank since lifting the 20-30 lb bucket is really hard for me. Let me just say that it works. I saw some reviews about it not being very strong so I turned it up to max. Bad idea. Almost sent my little guy into another realm. Definitely should have tested that before. He's okay and he got a good treat after lolEven on the lowest setting, I recommend putting something under the outflow if you don't want to kick up all your substrate if you use it for water changes. Very, very powerful.

I ordered this knowing full well that it would not be 400GPH. I anticipated 200GPH as I intended to pump water up approximately 36" which typically will cut the capacity in half! Fortunately for me, I decided to do a test before I installed this in my sump filter for my new aquarium. I filled one 5 gallon pail with 3 gallons of water on the floor. I set an empty pail on the counter above it (standard counter height). It took 3 minutes to empty the pail which works out to about 60GPH. I was intending to use this on a 40G aquarium, so I was intending to cycle the water 5 times per hour. With this pump, it would take more than 3 hours to do so. Simply won't work! Save the time and spend a little more on a quality pump with a good reputation. You've been warned.
