1. As this aquarium pump is submersible, and need to be put into water fully before power on to avoid the aquarium pump burning out. Prohibit no-load running.It would shorten its lifespan and lead tomaking loud noises when running in the air for long time, Whenchanging water, please disconnect power supply.
2. Due to all the pumps need to be professional water testing by our manufacturer before shipment, if the water pump you receivedhas a little water,please don't worry, the little water was left fromprofessional water testing, it is a normal phenomenon. It is new and normal pump.
3. If the water pump is stuck by anything like Mud, garbage, sea salt, etc. need to be cleaned with clean water before use.
4. The inner shaft will be with a bit little little lubricant to ensure the motor is working well, If you are raising sensitive fish or aquaticplants, please use them in other tanks for a short time then move it into fish tanks. If the product suddenly stop working or make noises, which may caused by debris blockage. Please clean it regularly about, or add some olive oil on the rotor.
5.Insufficient power and insufficient frequency would affect the fountain pump’s flow rate. 160GPH refers to the flow rate without using a pump water pipe. If connected with a pump water pipe, the fountain pump maximum flow rate would less than 160GPH.

Works great, pumps a ton of water. Suction and pressure are great. Unfortunately it is at least 2x as loud at the previous one due to how much more water it pumps.

I ordered this for a small DIY hydroponic system. I needed only ~2ft of lift to reach the top of the tower and came up short. I removed the top section (reducing it by almost a foot) and it was still just a trickling flow. Not as advertised!Small pros - the motor was quiet and the suctions did stick to the side of the bucket.

I use these in my our door bird bath fountains. I also use algea control but end up pulling the pumps up and scrubbing them about once a month--- life in the PNW loves moss! the tubing fits the the flowers!!!!!I will need more tubing it will moss up.

This thing survived northern Nevada winters. I’m amazed how long it lasted. Hot summers, then frigid winter 24/7 usage. It finally gave up.Edit: I thought the pump burned out but it’s not haha. I thawed the fountain and cleaned it, reinstalled the pump and it turned on again. I’m even more impressed nowOften times my fountain would freeze entirely but it was still going. I’d thaw the water and it still pumped fine. It’s a great little pump. After 2-3 months of constant freezing, just cleaned it and it still works. Impressive

The product has a year warranty and I would like to have mine replaced. It is February 4th and the pump is dead. It will not pump water any more. Since it's under a year of usage, could I get it replaced? Thank you.Jason

Unfortunately I bought this pump and needed the tubing to go with it and there was no tubing in the box :( very disappointed and now I have to order the tubing separately
