This infrared camera is OK for hobby/homeowner use, but it is definitely not professional quality. The app is pretty basic and doesn't really have any instructions explaining anything. I do appreciate that you do not need to make an account or anything to use the app, you just open it and connect to the camera and it works. The included instructions are pretty bad. They mislabel parts and the actual instructions are very poorly translated. Luckily, it doesn't take a PhD to decipher how to use this thing. You download the app, plug the cable of the handle into the camera and turn it on (black button on front of the handle is power, clear button is the laser pointer), connect your phone to the cameras wifi, then open the app and select your language and "online preview" to view it. There is a slider bar in the app that as far as I can tell adjusts the sensitivity of the display. The camera itself has an focus adjustment on the front of it. The overall clarity between the focus and display adjustment gets you to a fairly usable level, but it's not HD by any means. The wireless connectivity to the camera seems decent; it occasionally will freeze for a moment, but it's rather insignificant. For the actual functionality, it's decent, but again really just homeowner grade. It has two points on the screen that show the highest and lowest detected temps in the current view window and it seems pretty accurate. It takes a lot of fiddling with the screen and focus adjusters to actually be able to tell what you're pointing it at though and anything below maximum sensitivity on the app slider would result in 95% of the picture just being solid black. Overall, I think it's a decent camera for the cost. The description is pretty straightforward and they don't seem to embellish it too much. If you want something to use in a professional setting though, I'd look for something a little higher quality and with an attached display so you don't have to fiddle with phone settings and connections.
