I contacted the manufacturer asking if this product would identify Animal movement at approximately 75-100 yd. AI replied stating that it believed it would work Mostly for my application.Truth be told it works amazing at Up to maybe 30' or 40'But it does not work for what I purchased it for. I wouldn't have bought it if AI hadnt replied.

The thermal camera works great on my android device. I've compared it with our fleer camera and the temperatures are very accurate. I've used it for 30 minutes with no significant drain on the battery. Even the imagery is very good. It is easy to see the difference in items you are looking at.

It's not bad, but it's not going to blow your mind.The resolution is rather bad, like a cell phone video camera from 2010.Still, it can help give you a lot of information about your home and energy uses.

Solid build, good resolution and excellent temperature range. Comes with a case and cable too. I bought it to use desk-mounted with a windows computer for soldering. My only downside is the included windows app is corrupted, even when emailing support it doesn’t work. Instead I used the windows app “TC view” which works perfectly. If you just want to use it for night vision, it works out of the box with android/windows/linux/ipad as a standard UVC camera.

The TESLONG brand thermal camera for Android is a compact high-performance device capable of pinpointing and monitoring heat related information. This device uses a 3.2 mm lens to capture 256 x 192 infrared hi resolution images within a range of 5°F-1112°F.The camera will designate 3 different readings within the zone captured during any filming sequence: maximum, CenterPoint, and minimum temperatures. The device measures a very compact profile of 1.34x1.04x0.59 inches and weighs only 19 grams.The camera package thoughtfully includes a dedicated app, cleaning cloth, user guide, 20 inch USB C cable, and camera, completed with a dedicated zipper lock carrying bag for storage and transport.There are 3 apparent issues/limitations of note for this device. The first is a reminder that this device is not programmed to work with iOS systems, and is therefore incompatible with iPhones. It will also not work with a select few (10) Android devices. Potential purchasers should therefore be diligent to assure compliance with their chosen partner devices.The second issue, in this reviewer’s opinion, is the absence of any memory provision in the camera. Anyone wishing or needing memory capabilities would need to trade up to one of 2 models from this brand that cost approximately twice as much.The final issue, and one of particular interest to winter weary Canadians, would be if this device could measure temperatures lower than 5°F. This could have relevance for accurate measurement of startup temperatures for important equipment such as aircraft, heavy trucks, and similar applications needing to know what engine starting conditions might be expected given extremely cold environment conditions and the effectiveness of mitigating measures such as block heaters.Conclusion:The TESLONG brand thermal camera for Android is a compact high-performance device capable of pinpointing and monitoring heat related information. An overall product score of 4/5 is assigned accordingly.

I'm using the thermal camera with a Samsung Galaxy S23 cell phone. The quality of the camera is quite good and has provided impressive results.Finding and setting up the app (Teslong IR) was simple and easy to locate in the app store. Upon launching the app it prompted me if I wanted the app to automatically launch whenever I install the camera or if I want to be prompted to launch the app. I elected for auto launch. They've also provided a handy and easy to follow user guide.The app is user friendly and easy to navigate. You can set it to display in celsius or fahrenheit. The performance of the camera is quite impressive for the price point, it easily detected warm sports behind the wall. My initial testing with this thermal camera to get familiar with it and a baseline was to go around the house and check out all our batteries, water heater etc. It has worked well from both closer up (within a couple of feet) and further away (more than a dozen feet).Everything needed to charge up and connet the camera to a phone or computer is included.Pros-cleaning cloth included-carrying case included-usb c extension cable included-compact and lightweight-high temperature alarm-works on windows computers and android phones-temperature accuracy with 2 degrees either wayThe TESLONG thermal camera for Androids is an impressive thermal camera for a reasonable price point.

This Teslong IR high-resolution thermal camera has turned out to be a great tool for anyone interested in hands-on maintenance, whether it’s for the vehicle or home. The setup was a way easier than my original expectation, within minutes including the app downloading time, I was able to use the camera to get a real-time look at the heat distribution in my vehicle. The details were decent, I could instantly spot any hot zones, showing me exactly where heat was building up under the hood.When I brought it inside, the camera became even more valuable. I used it to track the heat flow from my furnace all the way through to the vents in each room. It was eye-opening to see exactly how much heat each room was actually getting, and the color-coded display made it easy to spot any uneven heating areas at a glance. Plus, it doesn’t just show colors; it gives accurate temperature readings that really help in troubleshooting.The mandatory app that accompanies/supports the camera is incredibly user-friendly. From adjusting temperature scales (Celsius/Fahrenheit) to language settings, all the configurations are easily accessible, and I can snap photos or record videos with a tap. The camera's mini size makes it super portable, so I could move around and capture readings effortlessly.While I don’t have experience with high-end, professional-grade thermal cameras, I can confidently say that this model is perfect for home use and even some commercial projects.

This is an awesome device that is great to have in a homeowner’s toolbox. It’s probably not something you’ll use daily, but will really come in handy when you do use it (and potentially save you some money!)While it is noted in the description, it’s worth mentioning that this isn’t compatible with iOS. If you’re an Android user, this will work for you.Setup was a breeze, just download the app, accept the permissions, and you’re off and running. The app is fairly intuitive with several options that can be adjusted.Images are quite clear without too much noise. It was interesting to go around our home and notice the different areas that you may or may not expect to be warm or cold. For example, going around my basement I noticed one spot in the ceiling that needs some more insulation, something I wouldn’t have noticed were it not for this camera.I like that there’s an included carrying case to keep the camera protected. I have it on a basement shelf with other tools and could very easily get knocked around.Really keep an eye on the price for this though - right now it’s priced at $369 with a whopping $170 coupon bringing the price to $199, which is more accurate for this type of device.Overall this is a solid addition to any toolkit.
