I've been interested in getting a reasonably priced hand-held thermal scanner for use around the home. I searched Amazon and found the Innova 3360 Thermal Camera. It appeared to have the features I wanted, so I ordered it.The item arrived quickly. It was well packaged in an Amazon shipping box, and it arrived without any damage. Inside that box, the item was factory-packed in its own multi-color, branded box that is suitable for gift-giving. The contents include the full-color thermal scanner, wrist strap, USB cable, and nylon carrying case that can be worn on a belt or carried using the included shoulder strap.I was eager to try it. So, I grabbed the Quick-Start Guide from the box and scanned through it. Note that you must insert 3 AAA batteries, which are not supplied. Once the batteries are installed, you simply press the red button on the panel to activate the unit. The screen goes through a quick initialization, and then the device is ready to use. After powering up the device, I went through the house and scanned the windows and doors. Most were good, but I found a few that had a spot or two where a small amount of cold air was getting past. I will have to look closely at those and tune up the seals as needed. That said, this is exactly why I wanted the scanner, and I'm happy to be able to do this on my own instead of hiring someone to do it.The device has many other features -- too many to go into in this review -- so be sure to read the Owner's Manual, which fully details all of them.

I was excited to get my hands on the Innova 3360 Thermal Camera, hoping to finally find those pesky thermal leaks in my home and save some money on my energy bills. Unfortunately, my excitement quickly turned to frustration.Right out of the box, the camera powered on, but then it got stuck on the boot screen. I tried everything - restarting it, updating the firmware, even contacting customer support - but nothing worked. It's completely unusable. The camera's description promised high-quality thermal imaging and user-friendly features, but I experienced neither. It's incredibly disappointing to invest in a product that doesn't live up to its claims.I would strongly advise against purchasing this camera. Save your money and look for a more reliable and functional option. This one is a complete waste of time and money

From the manual:- 32x32 Pixel infrared sensor- Visible camera: 307200 pixelThe image is VERY low resolution, tried differed lighting in the room, changed color modes and fusion distance.Turns out that it's not using that visible camera at all, but only the 32x32 pixel sensor.See the photos: That red thing is supposed to be the laptop (fusion is set to 0.5m, camera is at 0.5m from laptop)First photo is supposed to be the "fusion" one with both cameras, in 2nd photo I had the visible camera covered - exactly the same result. If the visible camera were defective, it should have displayed an error. I'm fairly sure that visible camera is not even connected to anything inside. And at 75% of the price of other higher-resolution imaging devices ...This is NOT a sponsored review.

However, there is a micro-USB port and included cable that can be used to connect to a computer. The device shows up as a USB drive. Each saved image is 140 kb and is stored as a BMP file that is 240 x 294.- Good build quality, feels like a commercial product- Comes with canvas bag with shoulder strap and 2 compartments- IP 54 ratingCons:- Requires 3 AA batteries (not included).
