It's seems to work great for my Hvac install. I need to measure "Wet Bulb" Temperature.

This is an easy to use tool, I use it to check humidity levels throughout snake enclosures. Though humidity sensors are placed in the enclosure, the location gives information for that specific area. This tool allows % reading anywhere in the enclosure, from substrate level to the top. Just as with a thermal gradient being required, a humidity gradient is also necessary for health of reptiles. The only drawback to these sensors, is you have to let the readings stabilize to get an accurate reading. This means the probe must be held in place for about 8-10 minutes in a specific area.

I use this in my Home Inspections also in my cabinet shop to get a handle on the atmospheric conditions. I find it to be durable, accurate and fast. Has so far been a reliable tool banging around in my coveralls pockets slithering through tight crawl spaces.

I recently received the PT6508, and I’m genuinely impressed by its accuracy and performance. Upon testing, I discovered that the temperature and humidity readings are powered by the SHT35 sensor from Sensirion, a top-quality chip known for its high precision. In fact, it’s more accurate than what’s listed on the box, which was a pleasant surprise! The device works perfectly for my needs and consistently delivers reliable readings. For anyone looking for a precise, no-nonsense temperature and humidity meter, the PT6508 is an excellent choice. It absolutely fulfills its purpose, and I couldn’t ask for more!

I grew frustrated with the non-Arizona weather people not understanding the importance of the dew point to Arizonans. I knew they would not change. So, I decided to solve my problem by getting a device that would allow me to get the dew point. The device is easy to use and I can get real time temperature and dew points every day. The device also confirmed what I suspected, that the morning low temperature is lower than it is in Phoenix. Thanks to lack of dew points from the weather people I now get accurate dew points in the morning before my workout. This is a good tool and the price was decent.

I have a few different brands of these Thermo-Hygrometer. This one is a good, accurate, meter. The only dislike I have is the need to switch from Celsius to Fahrenheit every time of use, but that's minor, I'll admit. I like the UEI DTH10 meter a hair better (smaller; just as accurate), but this is good tool and a fair price.

i used this tool to verify that i in fact would benefit from installing a very expensive Aprilaire 800 humidifier ( with the installation it was over 2 thousand dollars ) ...my worthelss Extech hygrometer ( the home model with big screen ) was telling me that all isn't so bad but my cracked skin was telling me otherwise ...this Protmex confirmed that my skin was telling me the truth and that humidity was abysmal - i went ahead with Aprilaire 800 installation and it was just game changing - no more sore throat, dry eyes, cracked skin etc ...one annoyance is it always starts in Celsius and you have to press the button to switch to F ... wish it remembered my preference.but it's overall well made, 10 times more accurate than Extech and 100 times faster.Extech ( the home model with big screen ) would take about half an hour to stabilize on a ( wrong ) reading when moved from room to room. This unit takes maybe 30 seconds to stabilize on a good reading. When moving from room to room the reading starts changing literally within a second or two of entering a different room ! ! ! It is SO sensitive ! For example if you walk into a bathroom after somebody took a shower there the numbers will start climbing the very moment you walk into that room ! And about 30 seconds later they will pretty much stabilize at a new reading unless the temperature is also different. It takes longer ( about 5 minutes ) when there is a difference in room temperature.all in all outstanding for home use. don't know if it's good enough for professional use.

Works well, came quickly. The RH will change very easily if you even cause the surrounding air to move around. A little slow but worked for me.
