One of the most popular questions for new plant parent is “When do I water my houseplants?” Many houseplants have differing water needs. The water requirement for plants is based on the light, temperature, air circulation and stage of plant growth. So a plant’s water needs will change seasonally and depending on the size of the plant and it’s root mass. With the aid of ONEDONE soil moisture meter, judging the watering needs of your plants will be easier.
Easy to Use
Simply place the end of the soil meter into the soil. The ideal location is a depth equaling 1/3 the depth of the plant pot and about equal distance from the pot edge. When the meter reading reaches the desired number on the plant watering guide, it’s time to water your plant. Water when meter number reads below moisture number. Do NOT water when meter reads above moisture number. Plants are listed by the most generally accepted common names on the box of the moisture meter.

I am always at a complete loss as to when to water all my plants. Certain plants are once a week. Others, not really. Cactus and succulents are tricky. They like it dry but still need water. I have killed more than one of these types of plant by using the 'finger method'. Well, no more dirty finger or dead plants. This little tool take all the guess work out of it. Comes with a handy list as to what plants need a little or a lot of water. I choose this one (as there are many types available) as this company boast a 2 year replacement warranty. Something none of the others offered. My plants are very happy that I bought this item and highly recommend to other plant moms and dads!

I find This meter very difficult to read because you have to look down on the side to read the results.Going to look for an easier to read tester.
