Bought this last June but opened it today to test my soil pH. No movement of needle. Tried the other settings. Reading 0 for moisture in very wet soil. Light meter moved slightly but it’s pretty light outside this morning. Appears not to be working. I am not happy about this.

Update: The seller sent a replacement for free and the new item works fine.This soil multi-meter was doing fine with measuring moisture, Ph, and nutrient level of soil, as well as intensity of light. The issue is that this product was short-lived and lasted two months. Absolutely not worth it.

I dropped my last meter and broke it so I grabbed this one. It is super easy to use! Just pop it in your plant (indoor or outdoor) to check the water needed, soil, nutrients, etc. It is thicker than others I’ve had. It feels heavier and seems more durable than anyone I’ve seen. We will see how well it works in a year or so. The price is a great value for all the functions it performs for you with a switch of a button on the front of the meter. You adjust to whatever you need to monitor in seconds. It has been VERY accurate. It has performed perfectly for me.

I bought this to read the moisture level in my outdoor plants. This one looked perfect because i angled back for reading and, at 79 years old, I wouldn't have to bend over to read it. The problem is, however, the prongs are short. They don't go deep enough into a large pot to get a good reading. And, since you have to push it down so far the dial is in the leaves and I still have to bend over to read it. It may work well for shallower pots and younger eyes. For me, not so much.

This unit works very well, is easy to use and seems accurate. Other units I've had require that you dig up soil samples, wet them and then wait a certain period of time before taking a measurement. This unit just requires that it be stuck in the soil. One warning is to never put the probe in water, just wipe it off. I use a damp paper towel to clean after use. That seems to work well.One criticism I have is that the slide switch used to change function (pH, moisture etc.) does not line up well with the functions lettering. Not a big deal once you get use to it. Overall a very good product and no batteries required.

On soil acidity, all of my readings were far to the left on the scale, which makes me suspicious. I think you have to make sure the tip of the rod is completely submerged/surrounded by solid dirt (no air gaps or hollow spaces.) to get a reading. I wanted this to measure my soil acidity for my Laurel and Rodedenems but my readings were always very very low acidity even after treating the area with vinegar and other products to raise the Acidity. I am going to take a soil sample to the Extension office to have it tested and then compare it with the reading on this device. 1/29/24 UPDATE Seller reached out to me and offered a refund or replacement. I asked for a replacement and got a newer upgraded model and it seems to work better for soil acidity testing than my orginal. Good customer service.

So far, so good! The Updated 4 in 1 Soil Tester performed as advertised. My main interest was in the PH and Nutrient features of this meter, so I can make the proper amendments (if any) to my lawn & garden soils. While testing, I also observed the Light and Moisture features too, and both readings were consistent with the available sunlight, plus the fact that we had recently had a lot of rain. It is easy to use, and I was able to take numerous readings in various locations over a short time period, plus the results were consistent and repeatable. This meter should prove useful for my needs, and by observing the recommended guidelines, should provide many years of service. Very satisfied with this meter!

للاسف المنتج سيء جدا ولايعمل حاولت كثيراً مع المؤشر ولكنه لايتحرك باي طريقه اشعر بالاحباط والخداع لن اشتري من هذا البائع مره اخرى وسااخبر اصدقائي المزارعين بذلك
