Très utile pour protéger notre lit, mais sur le bord de la grande fenêtre mon chien s’en fou carrément, si un écureuil arrive dans son champ de vision et les piques d’écrasent

We purchased the product after reading numerous reviews saying it was safe and would not hurt the cat because their weight would not be sufficient to force the spikes through fur and skin and because the cat wouldn't attempt to land on it. However, upon examining the product it was clear that our kittens, if they ran into it at full force or landed or fell on the product during play, would be physically injured. The spikes could in fact cause internal injury if impacted with sufficient force (a weapon doesn't have to be sharp to injure, the millwall brick is a great application of this principle) or even break skin, and our kittens are still in a stage where they regularly leap onto spots too high for them to see the top of, run into things such as humans, walls, and other animals at high speeds, or tackle each other into places we do not want them to be. For us, it is a recipe for unwanted vet bills and a morass of guilt. This product might be safe for smaller older cats, and only if placed in locations where they cannot accidentally fall on them from height and can clearly see them so they can avoid landing on them. HOWEVER, I would not risk it if you have a larger or overweight cat, a young cat, a dog, CHILDREN, or any other critter that might unwittingly trod or fall over the product; nor if it is in a location out of the ANIMAL'S view (get down to their level and check if they can see it before even considering this product ffs).On another note, I think they'd make great plastic pads for chairs to roll on. Small, interlocking, stick into carpet; you could go beyond the usual rectangle quite nicely. Might be a better use. :D

Works well to keep feral cats for destroying your yard.

This is a brilliant idea for training dogs to stay off the new furniture. I have tried all kinds of things that didn't work. Very easy to just pick these up and put away when company comes, or just move one for yourself. Very sturdy and effective. I found that out the hard way... Great product. Dogs stopped after just one encounter!

Had a problem with 7 cats jumping onto our counters and opening the cabinet drawers on a nightly basis. Effective about 95% of the time.

I’ve used the rollout garden spiky ones before with limited success. These actually WORK! The cats stay off and I love the separate pieces. Makes it more usable and versatile. Great product!

I love my cats. I do not like their poopy paws on my counters. One of my cats took up the habit of jumping on my counters at night. Got these and set them up, he jumped up on the counter one time, and hasn’t again. I still keep them out while I sleep because I’m sure he can see them, but I’m so happy he’s not getting up there anymore. Foil stopped working, so I had to up my game.

My cats like to sleep in the shelving of my closet, my clothes would always be full of hair.I put these on top of the pile in each shelf...my clothes are no longer full of hair.

These are easy to set up, easy to trim to size, and plenty of them for the money. Counter-surfing is down about 75%, but every so often I see one of the cats walking on top of them.
