Features a very long on-part life of 30 days and is perfect for cure conditions below room temperature. Decreases the set-up time of Loctite brand threadlockers and increases breakaway torque on most fastener surfaces. Allows application of threadlockers in cold weather. Contains no ozone-depleting compounds.

Makes a night and day difference when using thread lockers. Personally I use this Loctite brand primer with Permatex brand threader lockers.

Used in conjunction with Loctite 565 to seal a standard air hose whip to an aluminum tank. Nothing had worked, until I used the Primer first. Excellent product, highly recommended!
