This was easy to roll on and had good coverage over spackle and penciled lines from previous wallpaper. It made my new wallpaper easy to hang and allowed for perfect seams.

The Zinsser Shieldz Primer was not properly packaged and it leaked primer out into the Amazon box and all over the Calcium D-Glutonate bottle that was included in the box. Everything else was okay.However, some of the primer leaked out of the box and got on the drivers car seat too.

I have done a LOT of wallpapering over the years. This is the BEST product to prep your walls with, even if you are putting up pre-pasted paper. Worth every penny!

This is probably more for the packaging/delivery, as the primer itself is perfect. However, when it arrived, it had opened in the box and sat on my porch for several hours before I got home. One of the prongs had popped off and the paint was all over the box and had leaked onto my porch. pretty crappy packaging job. Only had a small amount of bubble wrap- it should have been in a plastic bag or something. Not cool.

I use this to Prime my canvases instead of gesso. Works really well when you are installing a mural like you would wallpaper!

This primer provides great coverage and makes wallpapering a lot easier, especially helpful when you have dark painted walls that may show through your wallpaper.

My wallpaper process was a nightmare until I started over and used this prep. My painter had put a sealer over the new drywall but the paper did not move and dried out immediately when trying to match the pattern. Rust-Oleum solved this issue. Great product and easy to use. It goes on fast and spreads nicely.

I used the Shields to prime, seal and size old plaster walls in preparation for wallpapering. It works great and saves a couple of steps by doing all three jobs in one. I've used the product a few times before and have always had excellent results. I would recommend it to anyone getting ready to wallpaper old walls or new.
