Dry film is 86-Percent pigment which results in less smoke and electrode wear when welding, and cuts faster than 100-Percent zinc rich coatings. Stops rust creepage. Specifically formulated to meet the performance needs of body shop personnel. Large sprayhead gives a professional looking application. Heat resistant up to 250˚F. Comes in a can, sprays like a gun. This stuff may be a little bit pricey, but it works very well. Welds fall asleep and prevents rust along while keeping a good finish. Can’t really complain.

I notice that the coating flakes off the sheet metal but it does weld through the primer and it also burns off. I don't like it but I bought it so I used it.

Pigment goes on thick and covers completely. Self-leveling smooth coating. Works like you hope primer would.
