I was on the hunt for another EVSE to charge a third car since I only have the ability to charge up to two cars sharing a single NEMA 14-50 outlet in the garage using a smart splitter. I was looking around for a small level 1 charger since the third car is rarely ever driven but they were all rated for 16A at 120V. I only have a standard wall outlet left to use and 16A would require a NEMA 5-20 plug and socket to be compliant so I avoided those like the plague. This was a major concern for me at first since this EVSE also delivers 16A but I read in the description that on 120V it will only deliver up to 12A with the option to select 8A,10A or 12A with 16A only being available on a 240V circuit. After reading the description I placed an order and it arrived the next day. I plugged the EVSE into the wall and plugged the other end into the car and sure enough it works exactly as described! The charging speed is what I expected and I like the option to lower the current from the EVSE itself rather than using the screen in the car. The EVSE as stated also works on 240V with a NEMA 6-20 outlet which I tested by converting an existing NEMA 14-30 outlet in the other room to a 6-20 using a pigtail adapter. No issues with either voltage and the car charges without the outlet heating up. I'm not able to confirm if it also works on 208V like the OEM charging equipment does which could potentially be an issue with some buyers. In terms of the build quality the EVSE seems to be very well built. It looks solid against water and moisture and appears very rugged and strong against wear and tear. It also has a 21 foot cable which is plenty to reach anywhere in the garage. The EVSE is also very easy to install on the wall if you so choose. It has a small mounting hole on the back from which it can hang from the wall with a nail or a screw. Finally I personally really like the handle on this EVSE. It has the NACS or J3400 connector on the end and a little rubber cap to keep the pins dry when it's not being used. It has a nice ergonomic feel to it which is great. As stated in the description the button does indeed open the charge port door as well as stops charging just like the OEM equipment. Overall this was well worth the value I paid and I definitely recommend!

We’ve been using this with my Model Y for about a week, and I think it’s way better than the original Tesla charger!1.I had the Tesla Mobile Charger (which is already broken) and it costs a whopping $580 plus tax. Compared to this $159 onee, this is literally almost a QUARTER of the price.2..The charging speed goes up to 16A, and you can choose between 8-16A. It’s faster and offers more options for charging.3.Just like the original Tesla charger, you can open the Tesla charger port door by pressing the button on the handle. When you’re done charging, you can hold the button to unlock and easily unplug it—no extra steps needed. It’s super convenien(many other third-party chargers can’t do this)4.the cable is long, so I can park out of the garage and use the socket on the garage wall.Plus, I noticed a UL mark on the cable!Overall , great result and Happy we picked this one. recommended! Please Note: I do these reviews to help others. This is my honest opinion after doing a lot of research and buying this product for personal use. If any changes arise we will update this review.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (4/5)If you’re looking for a Tesla charger that’s both handy and looks cool, the Ecogenix Tesla Charger Level 1 & 2 is worth a look. For $160, it’s a solid investment in your electric vehicle’s future. This charger is like the Swiss Army knife of EV charging—it’s adjustable, works with both 110V and 240V, and comes with both NEMA 5-15 and NEMA 6-20 plugs. In short, it’s got you covered for pretty much any charging situation. It’s sturdy enough to make you feel like you’re not going to end up with a melted mess on your hands. The NACS connector fits like a charm into all Tesla models, including the Cybertruck, so you don’t have to worry about compatibility issues. Plus, it looks sleek enough that you won’t be embarrassed showing it off.Why not 5 stars? The price is a tad steep, but for what you get, it’s a fair deal. Overall, it’s a reliable and stylish choice for Tesla owners.
