I got this just as an extension cord to add some more length to one of my cords. It works just as well as expected. Not much else to say as I don't have an electric vehicle to test with. But overall, as an extension it works well.

This is regarding the Ufixed Heavy Duty NEMA 5-15 to 6-20 EV Charger Power Adapter Cord, for Electric car Charger Nema 6-20 Adapter EV Charger Extension Cord Connect 5-15P Household Outlet to 6-20R EV Charger Plug.As you can see from the photo, I learned a valuable lesson about reading the whole listing. I thought it was a 20 to 15 adapter... and it sort of is, just it's only for an EV, a specific EV.It's really well made. Definitely worth the money. It would last years with daily use. Made fery close to spec. The cord is heavy, yet somewhat flexible. The Sheath feels quit thick. It'll be good in all sorts of weather. This is a very good purchase at this price point, just make sure it's actually what you need.

This is a good adapter cord. It's durable and thick and seems to be able to withstand anything. It along with the cord I plugged into it worked well. It doesn't get hot while using it like som adapter cords do. The one thing that stuck out to me is that the prongs are the reverse of what I expected. The cord I originally intended to plug into it has the horizontal prong on the opposite side. So just pay attention to the photos and ensure it matches what you intend to plug into it. If the prongs match this is a great option!

This is for the NEMA 5-15 to 6-20 model. I like to call these "wall-wart removers" since I use short extension cords like this one, to plug in a large wall adapter. You've seen these things - big square blocks that take up more than one outlet by obscuring access to the adjacent outlet. This short cord is all you need to extend the outlet past the wall or power strip so that the large adapter no longer blocks the adjacent one. It's a heavy duty cord and is clearly able to take a lot of current with no problem. Well-constructed and durable, it should last pretty much forever. The price is a few dollars higher than I would have estimated, however, given the thickness of the cord and its ability to carry a heavy power load with no issue, I think the price is probably justified.

Make sure your EVSE is able to select a lower power rating before using this. My charger is selectable to lower it to 12A before using. If you use it on a 20A EVSE without lowering the power, it will probably melt the adapter as well as the outlet and trip the breakers.

Got this thinking it looked like a 15A to 15/20 A 120 converter but it is for 15A 120V to 15/20A 240V so I guess some odd adaptor for EV chargers or something else that can take either but has a 240V plug. Wish it has stated clearer that this was a different voltage adaptor.

Simple plug adapter, made with 14 gauge wire, not 12, but otherwise well made and fit to purpose. Connectors fit securely without being too tight.Typically used for connecting compatible EVSE (electric car charging cable) to 120 volt home receptacle. Also for connecting any dual-voltage product with a 240 plug to 120 volts. I've used it for both tasks and it functioned flawlessly for me.

For some odd reason, there are a few items sold, like little induction cooktops that draw only something like 600 watts, but for some reason have a 20 amp plug on them where a standard US 15 amp plug is more than sufficient. Anyway, the easy way around it instead of cutting off the plug and installing a new one is to just use this adapter. It will allow you to plug items like that into your standard home outlet. As with anything, you have to be responsible and understand that you cannot exceed what a circuit is designed for meaning don't plug in an item that will draw 20 amps into your 15 amp plug. But for those weird situations (or an emergency) this is a hand adapter to have on hand.
