This is a great option if you need USB (vice USB C) connections. The Cybertruck has two USB C plugs in the rear console, but no standard USB connections. If you need to plug in older devices (or simply do not want to throw away legacy cords), you need a solution. And Forontety has given it to us.Installation is simple, you plug in the two USB C plugs, and the dock attaches to the console. It is that simple.Additional benefits, it makes the plugs much more easily accessible because they are now visible without climbing in the floor. Also, it provides a much bigger light with two brightness settings.Overall, a well thought out piece of kit. I highly recommend it if you are looking to expand connectivity or simply make connections easier in the back seat.

I got this rear hub (got both of them at same time) to add not only more charging options but EASIER access to them as well. There’s been many times where rear passengers needed to charge but didn’t either have a standard usb or they couldn’t find the usb-c’s that were tucked underneath while seated. I’ve seen other options out there but what drew me particularly to this was the asthetics. It doesnt look like some cheap add on. It looks like it was designed and rather seamless. Be aware that the light on this unit turns on every time I get in the car. I have to turn around every single drive and manually turn off the light. Next time I enter the car, bang, It’s back on. Tried to contact customer service, tried to find out if this only happens to my unit. No reply. Checked a chat forum and saw that others had this issue as well. No answer from customer service. Returned.
