I got this Level 1 / 2 charger to give me the flexibility to use 20 amp, 30 amp or 50 amp plugs that you find at RV parks, I have a 2024 Wrangler 4xe as our tow vehicle behind our RV for several months at a time. So now I have one charging plug that can be connected to a variety of outlets. I have used this on my 20 amp circuit in my garage. It charges faster than my factory charger that is limited to 12 amps, drawing up to 15 amp on a 20 amp circuit.I did exchange a few emails with the company about using this on 30 amp plugs in addition to the 50 amp it has and the standard adaptor it comes with. They told me all I needed was a 50 amp to 30 amp adaptor. I have yet to test it on a 30 amp or 50 amp circuit, but it seems like a great option for those that need the flexibility to use one charging cord with different types of outlets. The things that need improvement...The device only reports temperatures in Centigrade (as every other country in the world uses), so you need to do the conversion to Fahrenheit. So that is disappointing for the US market. The Smart Life app it connects with does not give a lot of information from the device. I was hoping for some reporting but the device does not provide that to the app. I can watch how the charging is going, like how many amps are being pushed to the Jeep at a given time. That is nice to track the charging remotely.

This charging station stopped charging. Claims the plug and box are too hot. Had an electrician check on it and nothing is hot at all. This is a faulty charging station. Don't waste your money on this charger. I'd like a refund.

This Type 2 Level 2 EV charger is an excellent choice for home charging. It saves me time from making trips to fast chargers and fully charges my car overnight. The adjustable current feature is a great plus to prevent breaker trips. The buttons could be improved to be more clickable, but they donât affect functionality. I was able to temporarily use my dryer outlet until my electrician sets up a dedicated connection. Definitely a must-have for EV owners looking for a reliable home charging solution!

We decided to buy this charger to keep in in our car and as soon as we received it, we used it on a road trip to charge at hotels. It worked flawlessly every time. The cable is quite long at 25 feet and it made it easy to reach outlets, and the adapter allowed us to charge our Tesla without any issues. It was great to charge for free and because we got the Level 2 charging with a NEMA 14-50 plug, the car got charged quite a bit overnight while we were sleeping. Please remember that if you have a Tesla, you will need an adapter (we had one in the other Tesla charger kit that we got with the car). The charger feels well-built, and the safety features give us peace of mind. The LED display is clear and provides useful charging info. We have not yet used the app, but the carrying bag is a nice bonus, keeps things organized in the trunk.Overall, this charger has been a great travel companion so far.

Charger worked well on 120V current. Will not charge on 240V current. Requests for help with issue have been ignored by seller. I have upgraded my original post based on the promise of a quick replacement.Contacting Amazon was not any help. I sent an email to the address in the product documentation and was quickly sent a replacement charger. Very satisfied with the outcome.

Once you install the electrical wiring (or have installed), I literally plugged it into the outlet, and into the car (Ioniq 5) and was off and running(charging). That easyâŚreally. My car has scheduling on its app, so I havenât needed to do ANYTHING, just plug it in and come back to a full (80%) battery in a few hours. My kids live 80 miles away, but have a 220/50A outlet in their garage. Itâs too easy!I highly recommend this charger!.

I bought this charger because it included the 110v pig tail and claimed 40 amp charging capacity. It seems well made. I've had only two issues with the product.First connecting the 110v pig tail to the 4 prong 220v adapter was so difficult (tight) that my wife could not disconnect it and I had a great deal of difficulty. Connecting or disconnecting it to a normal 4 prong 220v wall adapter was not a problem so the issue was the pig tail. I exchanged the unit and the new pig tail while tight is usable.Second, less critically imo, I have been unable to get the charger to charge at 40 amps on a 50 amp circuit no what the state of charge was on my ev or its temperature. This has not been a problem for me since my ev charges quite quickly on 32 amps but you should be aware if this is important to you. Interestingly the box this charger comes in labels it as a Level 1 charger not Level 2 as mentioned in the Amazon ad. Both boxes were labeled like this. The app is basically useless but my vehicle app supplies the information I need. I plan on keeping this unit.

This charges my EV perfectly. The voltage goes up and down as necessary, depending on if it's plugged into a 120v or 240v.The app lets you see the amps, and let's you turn it on or off.
