Love this saw. It cuts really fast and smoothly and the poles are light but strong. Very happy with it.

I've seen some of my neighbor's pole saws and have rolled my eyes at their flimsy quality. They got it at some discount store for a one task application. OK, fine. But I'm kind of a tool snob. A thin, wobbly pole saw just makes the work unpleasant. So, I'm willing to pay a little extra to get a well done, long lasting, tool... even if I may only use it a few times. This LS-Series is EVERYTHING I wanted in a pole saw. The poles are thicker than most (about 1-3/8"), which provides a steadier grip. They seem to be made from a light composite material that is VERY ridged. You won't get any wobble out these poles. The three poles snap together easily and the joints are tight. The saw blade that comes with the kit is sharp, attaches to the pole end tightly, is the curved style to it cuts well on the down stroke, and the thin blades cuts a little faster... but wobbles more than I'd like on the up stroke. Frankly, it's a little thin for my liking. It's no Silky! For the cost, this pole saw's quality is MORE than I expected and it's the kind of quality that'll last a lifetime. The blade is fine for now. But I like that it'll accomodate a Silky saw blade in the future.

This saw worked great. I was able to prune several trees on our property with it. It saved several hundred dollars compared to hiring out a tree trimmer. The blade was sturdy and easily cut through all branches I tried it on. I only used 2 of the 3 extensions as I am unsure how you would get enough leverage to cut with the extensions out the full 20 feet length.Overall, a great and sturdy product. I would buy it again and, in fact, recommended it to another family member.

This pole saw is great!!!! Super sharp blade. Pole is easy to assemble, and dis-assemble, but practice doing it a few times before using the saw. Used it the day it arrived, and created enough work that it took a day to cut, drag and pile-up the tree limbs. Using just 2 sections is not too hard. But, with all 3 sections it becomes difficult to lift and keep it balanced in the air until it can be rested against the limb to be cut. It also means you need to have some one else around for help to be safe. Move slowly and deliberately on solid, even ground when carrying the saw even with just one pole attached. It is essential to use a very light 'pull stroke' for cutting. Start the cut with a few, very short pulls. Keep using short, easy pulls. Practice on several 'little' tree limbs with just one pole, then with very careful planning progress to 2 poles. Then, only with very, very careful planning use all 3 poles. Always have an 'exit-plan' to move yourself, and the saw out of the fall zone when a tree limb suddenly breaks free. Remember, you really need to have some one else around for help, just to be safe. Always use gloves, wear a hat, and always have someone else with a first aid kit nearby. Remember tree limbs will sway while being cut, suddenly break and quickly fall. OK, I'm 70+ in very good physical shape, very experienced, and this is a great tool! Always make, and follow a safe plan.

Easy to use, very sharp blade, does the job. Sturdy enough poles for weekend work. They assemble and disassemble easily.

Solidly built with lots of overlap between sections so there is no bending or weakness; joints are tight and easily locked/unlocked; the three sections are light and easy to handle. The blade cuts well even at 16' with minimum flex.

For years I have been trimming low-hanging limbs and branches from my trees the hard way - with chain saws, hand saws and large sheers. Even with long handles on the sheers, they were just too short, so I would use other means to get up higher, which was still ineffective and downright dangerous. So now I have finally wised up and purchased this tool that is DESIGNED to do it! It works GREAT, and easily gets way up into the trees - even higher than I need to go. It is very easy to unpack and assemble. Re the saw blade - it simply mounts on the end of the pole with the "hook" on the end of it. With the wing nut and bolt you choose one of 3 holes to position it at the angle you want. A second screw is on the mounting bracket that extends beyond the surface - of which you insert into the second hole on the blade to keep it secured in place and unable to swivel after tightening down the wing nut - see photo. Easy peezy, lemon squeezy! The saw blade cuts through the limbs easily. One note of caution however - it is wicked sharp, and quite frankly dangerous if you are not wearing a pair of leather gloves. Even being careful (but stupidly not wearing gloves), one of the razor sharp teeth stabbed my hand when removing it from its plastic bag. Subsequently, I highly recommend keeping the blade covered with a scabbard - which I ordered a few days ago. I must have looked at every single pole saw available. This one offered the best bang for the buck as far as I can tell, as they can quickly get very pricy. For me, having 3 separate poles is the way to go. That way, you don't have to always be carrying the full weight of all the poles when you don't need that much reach. Just use one, two, or all three of them. If you need even more reach, you can buy additional poles. They are very sturdy. My only regret with this product.... is that it took me all these years to finally wise up and buy one!Update - I received my scabbard and it works GREAT. After reviewing probably every scabbard available on the market, I chose the Weaver Leather Arborist 27 Pole Saw Scabbard. See photos I added. I am very happy with it, and wrote a review on it as well. Go to that product if you are interested in reading it. As stated above - I DEFINETLY recommend getting a good scabbard for the saw blade, and by all means... be sure to be wearing leather gloves when handling it! Don't make the stupid mistake I did when putting it together!

This saw is amazing. Used it the day it arrived and went to town trimming branches. Works like a charm. Haven’t used the 3rd piece yet though. Blade is sharp. Easy to use and easy on the arms also. Highly recommend.
