Fits onto existing Jameson poles and is soooo sharp! Be careful of it as it is savage! It does everything it needs to do when trimming branches and is not so heavy that your arms get tired too quickly. Happy to recommend.

Just because saws pretty much all look a like don't be fooled. This saw by Jameson is ahead of the pack when it comes to sharpness, durability and craftsmanship this saw hits it out of the park. Buy this, you won't be disappointed b

I was hoping this was going to be a screw in connector similar to what you use for paint rollers or spider web brushes but it wasn't compatible with the pole I had on hand. I did use it like a hand saw to take care of some branches which worked great.

I paired this with the 4-piece pole set by the same manufacturer and am quite happy. I can manage that setup; more pole sections would likely be too much for me. The hook on the back of the saw is useful for pushing and pulling stuck, disconnected branches. It also allows you to just hook the pole saw on the branch while you rest a bit, if you choose to use it to cut thick branches as I do. The blade is flexible, which prevents it from staying bent when it gets flexed, which it will. I've abused it pretty solidly and found it pops right back into shape. I am going to add a thin lock washer under the wing-nut as that tends to get loosened by my uncoordinated thrusting and bashing of the saw up in the branches. quite satisfied with this purchase. I don't have any business operating a chainsaw on a pole, and have always thought those saws were tempting fate a bit too much. This thing is effective and satisfying to use.
