The hardest part is getting this foam out of the wrapping without damaging it, so if you're just a little careful (I used scissors, to glide under the plastic wrapping and snip it open.) The expansion part is a lot easier if you can hang the foam in a vertical mode, so it's not being compressed in any way- it was full thickness in only a couple hours. I needed a thin soft foam that would hold and cushion at the same time, so this is great stuff. Not expensive at all, and worth it.

I ordered this to "help" the jack knife sofa in our Winnebago. RV furniture is notoriously "value engineered", and often uncomfortable, so I put this under the slip cover on the sofa to increase the and comfort.It was easy to cut and did the trick like magic. This was MUCH less expensive than replacing the sofa which would probably also been uncomfortable. Having it reupholstered would also have been costly, but probably better than a new one in comfort.The thickness was just right. I didn't want it to look puffy and weird and I needed the slip cover to fit over it.

The picture makes it look bigger but when you read the description it's spot on. It functions just how I had hoped for padding out my dress form, the thickness and squishiness is good, and overall it's just what I needed.Not stiff, a good value for the money, and exactly as described. 10/10UPDATE: Somehow even better than I first expected.The foam itself is very nice and easy to work with. It’s soft, plush, doesn't rip easily, and has some stretch. It's perfect for wrapping dress forms and I was able to successfully add an entire 5" to my forms hips in a smooth way.I was able to sew it together using a regular thread and needle and it didn't rip right out. Yes, some of the thread ripped in it’s hole but with enough stitches it takes the pressure off so it doesn't continue.I will absolutely be buying more to do my other dress forms for perfect customization! I love love love this stuff!

This is one of those items over the years that I have always sought to have on hand. From buffing up furniture dimples or "weak spots" to all varied manner of scenarios where I simply needed a bit of cushioning, I have found this style product to be such a blessing.Truly, I have used it in chairs. Couches. Chair armrests. Under my bottom for sit-ups, which has been a game changer for making that activity exceedingly more pleasant and bearable.Here you get a solid 1", which to me is in that sweet spot of usefulness between 1-2". Less gets lumpy and more gets "waddy". At 6' in length and 2' in width, you really are going to be able to use this on a lot of projects.All told, I think it's great. Nice item.

It fit perfectly, and my couch isn't sinking when you sit on it anymore. It's only a 5 year old couch, but it was slept on once without all of the cushions on it and the springs were depressed. I havent been able to sit on it without using a pillow since because of a bad back. I can now sit on it and get up without issues. A thicker one would've been even better for my particular situation, but anyone with a couch that has normal wear, this would be perfect. I tried using memory foam from my son's bed after he tore it up when he was very little, but it was way too thick. Anything more than an inch thick is probably going to be too much. I am happy with this product and would definitely recommend it.

We got this to add into our sofa cushions (very old sofa) to give a little extra support that had become less so. I cut it in two, and that worked for the two long seat cushions. While it's not a lot of thickness, that's good since I needed this to fit in the already existing seat covers. It makes a nice yet subtle difference, noticeable when sitting on them. It could have been a little thicker, but I knew the thickness when I ordered it. It's firm, which is what makes this thickness work, however, rather well for our purpose.

I bought these to create thicker pads for my forearm crutches. This was easy to cut with a craft knife and hasn't bunched up within the cloth sleeve I built for it. They haven't compressed over the last few weeks of using them daily.

Is memory foam? YesIs this usable for anything upholstery related? NoMind you I did purchase the 1/2 inch thick option, but this is so low density any amount of weight compressed this foam to paper thin, even stacking 6 layers together. I thought it was a red flag when the foam came in a super small box, but I see now this is definitely not what any reasonable person would consider high density.
