Recovered the foam for a bench put a zipper in to be able to wash fabric.Perfect depth 3” just enough for comfort. I had to cut some off. Measured well marked and cut with my electric kitchen knife. Worked out well. Would buy again

I purchased this foam for a headboard I was building. I never worked with foam before so I struggled to figure out the best way to cut it. I tried a foam cutter, scissors, everything you can think of. A bread knife worked best for a straight cut and my project turned out great!

I used this to replace a much firmer seat on a bench that was just a bit too firm. Now it sits comfortably and the height profile is more appropriate for a window seat.

Used this foam to fix the mesh seat pan on my herman miller Mirra. It worked really well.I cut the foam to size (used maybe 5% of the huge roll), and stuffed a one piece foam into the space between the mesh and the seat. It was difficult due to the right space, but not impossible. When the foam is compressed, it's soft and supportive. Totally restored the function of the seat pan. Bonus point is that waterfall function of the Mirra can still be used with this foam, as it's soft. Excellent foam for upholstery, even for a layman like myself.

Very firm but soft. Ordered the 3inch 72x18. Was very easy to measure and cut into 2 pieces of 18x30 leaving 12inches for another project. I had 2 camping chairs that when you sat they went very low making it verydifficult to get up. So we drilled birch wood into the side frames and placed the 18x30 foam on top of the wood with some elastic edge pillow cases I ordered through Amazon that fits them perfectly and snug.They no longer sink we are so straight and upright and it is so easy to hold on and push up and stand. We were so comfortable in them that they became our new bedroom chairs. Thank you!

I bought to use in an upholstery project. It arrived on time, was very well packaged, had no smell at all, and fluffed to it's full thickness immediately after I opened it. Easy to cut with a bread knife and feels nice and cushy. I probably could have gotten it cheaper if I'd found a local surplus or crafts store, but I wasn't in the mood to be driving all over to find a piece of foam. This is a reasonably good buy. My only complaint is that there's more than I need for my project so I've got leftovers. Anybody want a 2' piece of foam rubber??

The piece cut very easily. I was able to shave off any imperfections (from my cuts).I highly recommend for any custom project!I used this for:This worked perfectly for creating a mattress for a antique cradle I purchased for a friend’s daughter. I could not find a mattress the exact size and thickness I needed for the cradle. I would not give them a beautiful antique cradle that they could not use. I had to improvise and make a mattress. This was my saving grace!I cut the piece in half and used spray adhesive to glue the pieces together. I used a mattress cover to make sure there was no adhesive contact with the little one. It fit perfectly in the cradle!!There is extra protection with a sheet. The cradle stays at Grandma and Grandpa’s house. It’s perfect when she stays over.
