FoamTouch upholstery foam is made in the USA. FoamTouch upholstery foam is made of Polyurethane. High Density foam has a compression rate (ILD) of 44 lbs. ILD is a unit of measurement and refers to the number of pounds (lbs) of pressure or force that is needed to indent foam to a depth of 4” by 25%. This test is performed on an area of 50 square inches. High density foam is designed for that firm feeling for those who do not want to sink into their couch. FoamTouch has 100% recovery rate, 5-7 years durable and suitable for long-term use. All foam sheets are sold per sheet, not per yard, and rolled for packaging. Foams are rolled under pressure to fit the box. The foam packages need to be opened immediately once you receive them. Do not let the foam sit unopened for more than 1 week. Do not open with a box cutter or any kind of blade. Use a ball point pen or a pencil. Start by making a little incision and break the seal (tape) from there. This phone came rolled and compressed in the box. It only took a few hours to expand fully once it was out of the box. It was easy to cut to size with a serrated kitchen knife. I used it under my sofa cushions to give a little extra support. The foam is dense and gives great support

The shipping packaging left something to be desired but the foam was used for replacing worn out foam on a boat. I could only use one edge due to the shipping of the package. Even let it breath for 2 days before using.

Our couch and matching chair are still in relatively good condition with the exception of the foam seats, which give too much when you sit. This high density foam is very good quality and it's firm. It really provides strong support.

We went shopping for an extra firm Queen size mattress due to our backache issues and found the firm ones at mattress stores exorbitantly priced. So we gave this high density foam a try and ordered two of these with dimensions of 30 inch x 96 inches, cut their length to 80 inches. Cutting to 80 inches was super easy with a sharp long knife. So with two numbers of foam of 30 inch width x 80 inches length placed side by side, it fitted our Queen size bed frame ( 60 inch x 80 inch) perfectly. We placed put a 2 inch Gel memory foam on top. A nice mattress cover was all that was needed then. Soon we had a "good extra firm mattress" firmly supporting us. Quite happy with the end result of getting what we wanted at less than half the price.

Thought I was buying a high density product but this is not. Disappointed after paying so much.
