I use this product with the Dixie hexagon crayons but seems like the nut has to be tighten up with pliers so the crayon doesn’t slide back into the holder can’t just hand tighten it isn’tEnough to keep it from sliding backBut other than that very heavy duty

I use chalk to mark boards end to end as I mill them down to parts. Best way I've found to help me keep track of the work while jointing is to pass chalk lines all across and let the first pass on the jointer tell the true tale. I like that this uses the sturdier size chalk and clips onto my shop apron.

Used it for the work crayon. Functions well and will repurchase when I need it again.

One star for trying. Does not hold a lumber crayon tight enough without another tool to tighten the thumb nut. Cheaply made. Get a Pica 588 chalk/crayon holder instead.

I use the markal markers at work by the dozen, and they will not work with these. This product is made for Hexagon markers only.3 put of 5 stars because the price. It's a little on the high side for the quality of the material. Very noisy unscrewing the tension nut and refill cap.
