Is it comfortable?
Compared to sleeping with nothing on, it will be uncomfortable the first few nights. This discomfort isn’t necessarily a bad thing, in fact, it often time means the tissues in your foot are getting the stretch they need in order to heal properly.
Can I walk in it?
No, please remove this splint prior to walking. It is only intended to worn while sleeping or resting.

The foot brace is suppose to help with heel pain from bone spurs but hurts your toes.

I was so shocked that this product was available on Amazon. My mother’s doctor said she needed this to wear at night for toe drop after her stroke. When the doctor told us this is what we needed, I was expecting to pay a high price for a foot brace, when he told me to order one from Amazon, I was so shocked that it was so reasonable. I was a little scared when I ordered it, thinking it wasn’t going to be any good. It works great and stays in place.

This was the second night splint that I tried for night time as I am suffering from plantar fasciitis. This one won me over because it was definitely more comfortable and also easy on/off. I tend to have to get up 2-3 times in the night and will take this off and do a stretch before the short trek as the splint is not built to walk in. Once it was fitted around the toes, I only need to undo the calf strap. Easy peasy.

Cumple su funcion a medias pues me resulta muy incomodo el ponerlo y quitarlo cuando lo necesito y tambien los materiales dan algo de calor.No esta del todo mal pero en mi caso no creo que lo compraria nuevamente.

I bought this for my wife, but it broke after only a week or so! The hook-and-loop fastner has very bad quality and doesn't work anymore after only a few nights. She couldn't even wrap and fix it on her feet. It's a total waste of money. Not recommended.

I called braceability prior to my purchase voicing my consern that this L/ XL brace may be too small for me. They assured me that it would fit up to size 15. This brace has an elastic band under the lower strap that the foot has to slide into before tightening the straps. It's this elastic band that is too tight. It actually causes pain because the elastic band is NOT adjustable.I called Braceability about this issue and told them I was going to have to cut the elastic band off to use it. That said any modifications would void my warranty. I'm going to cut it off and use it anyway. It would be perfect for a smaller foot and I think it's a good product with a good design. Having big feet has its downfalls.

Bought it for my hubby after her injured his Achilles’ tendon a few months ago while on vacation. He used it at night, wakes up with less discomfort. Worth the money seem to do the trick. He has only been using it for a week so time will tell.

Initially I thought this product was wonderful. However, within less than two months I am less than thrilled. I take the time to put it on following exact directions. The elastic around the calf keeps stretching out, making it more challenging to get it secure enough so it doesn't just slide down the leg. The elastic around the foot is useless. The design makes it so it does not stay in place. One or two movements in bed and my foot slides out of the brace. If I tighten the elastic over the foot I wake up in pain, not from the plantar faciitis, but from the lack of circulation and odd placement of the foot wrap portion. It goes directly over the ball of the foot. If you can get it to stay on your foot, it does what it is supposed to do. I could not and I got tired of either kicking it off int he middle of the night because it had gotten so loose or waking in pain. I am off in search of a different brace.

I really wanted this to work for me. I KNEW I had finally found the solution to my plantar fasciitis. But, alas, this wasn't it. I didn't have a problem with it slipping. It stayed secure and loose enough all night. But, as comfortable as this "boot" is, after having it on for an hour or so, my foot was in a lot of pain wherever it was touching. I don't blame the boot for that. I think my feet swell during the night or something. But even when the contraption was loose, my foot was in tremendous pain where it was touching. I tried attaching it with ace bandage, a large sock... Nothing worked. I'm a size 8 foot, 5'9" and 140 pounds, so this isn't a matter of me being too large for it. I think it's just the nature of my sensitive foot right now. What DID finally work for my plantar fasciitis was just one step beyond keeping my foot at a 90 degree angle. That was the sock with the strap that keeps the toes flexed. Having the toes also flexed kept the tendon on the bottom of my foot taught, which helped my foot heal in the correct position to help with pain problems in the morning. I'm doing much better with just the sock. (Str****urg sock).
