Helps with pain and restless legs . Easy to put on and more comfortable.

I actually like this aside from a couple small improvements I would make in an ideal world. At first the velcro seemed too loose to keep my foot flexed all night, but it comes with an extra 'gator' piece you can use to customize the sizing. So I trimmed the end of the velcro on the actual brace (this was after I took the picture) and added the gator. Then it stretched as tight as I wanted. It does help me even during the day to stretch my calf on my right leg. That's the side my fasciitis always is worst and calf stretching helps it the most. If you didn't want it pulling your toes so much all night, you could maybe add a firm insole or something inside the sock part to have a more solid base. Overall, I really like it because it's not overly huge, pretty comfortable, and adjustable both in the tension as well as the fit around the ankle.

I have tried many night splints having plantar fasciitis and foot drop for years, this particular night splint allowed me to trim the strap for additional pull, allowing it to stretch my calf gently, unlike the large bulky fixed versions I have tried that were like wearing a snow boot to sleep. This night splint sock was comfortable bare foot but I prefer wearing it with a sock. I also noticed the rubbery tread on the bottom helped grip the tile floor when I woke up to use the bathroom.Like any brace or support, it took a few days to get used to it. My calf felt stretched every morning after wearing it through the night.I am shocked to see any negative reviews, this is a high-quality design and excellent fit (I bought a Medium Men's shoe size 8.5 wide). I can tell from some of the reviews that people did not read the instructions. There are many similar looking, almost identical braces on the market but none have the same material and high quality stitching and velcro.BIG BONUS- I called the customer service line to ask how to wash and take care of my night splint and was pleased to find out they are locally based in the USA. They told me to call back if I had any issues and they would do whatever it takes to make my experience positive. I will be back to purchase another one in the future!

The first thing to know about this splint is that you may need to cut the front strap to get the proper tension. After cutting, you'll apply the gator-style Velcro for adjustment. Also, be sure to secure the ankle strap tightly for the best support.Unfortunately, I found it uncomfortable to sleep in because it caused pain in my big toe after just a few hours. Due to this, I only used it for a couple of nights and didn’t notice much relief. Additionally, after just a few uses, the stitching started coming apart, which was disappointing for a product made in the USA.Most of my pain is in my heel, and this splint didn’t seem to help much—but it might work better for others. For $15 or less, it’s worth a try, but I’m taking off one star for discomfort and another for poor durability.

Here's what I think about the BraceDaddy night splint:* it's much more comfortable than the one-size-fits-all splint I got at Wally World, which has a hard plastic part that presses into my instep. I'd put it on before bed, and then had to take it off after an hour because it became painful. I gave up on that one after a few days.* My foot size (12.5) is right on the boundary between L and XL. I got the L and I think the size is OK, but barely.* The splint material is reasonably comfortable, although it's a little scratchy so I've been wearing a sock with it.* There is a Velcro strap that runs from the ankle to the toes and is used to keep the toes angled back. It's an agressive Velcro and holds well. I think this is useful for my plantar fasciitis problem.* The velcro strap also holds the foot back so it doesn't droop, which also helps the plantar fasciitis problem. However, for this task it's only marginally effective and the foot still has quite a bit of droop.* I've been wanting to wear this over night in bed. It's comfortable for the first hour or two, but unfortunately my foot starts getting hot because the material is a good insulator. (It probably doesn't help that I'm also wearing a sock).* Another problem with wearing it in bed is that my toes don't seem to like being bent backwards for a long period of time and they get uncomfortable after a couple of hours. So midway through the night I have to take it off, which wakes up the wife. This probably isn't a fault of the device; no stars off.Overall, I think it's a good device to wear in the evening while watching the TV. I'll keep trying to wear it to bed - maybe I'll hit on the right strap adjustment that will make it work for me.
