Fairly easy to install and hopefully will last longer than the hard, wood pieces I had. The color is more red than I expected.

My flooring in one room is slightly higher than the floor in the adjacent room and this makes the transition look very professional. The gray color matches my flooring perfectly. It’s easy to walk over, no danger of tripping. It’s easy to roll a chair over or laundry hamper that’s on wheels etc. It only takes a couple minutes to install. It’s easy to cut to the perfect size. I used caulk to seal the top part of the strip to the floor so it couldn’t flap up and be a tripping hazard and so dirt and dust couldn’t get under. It looks professional. It’s been 6 months since I installed it and it looks the same as day one so I’m very happy.

I live in a condo in the desert. My laundry room and an extra storage are outside on my patio. The doors are shorter, and I bought this to fill the gap…… two years later, still stay in place….. love it ❤️

I was very surprised how well this product worked to solve an issue that I had. We installed flooring in our 1900's built home and the variance from one flooring and the newly installed flooring was too large for a flat transition. I didn't want to mess with trying to match stain to 2 different types of flooring and I didn't want to MacGyver a piece of aluminum trim there either so I was at a loss for what to do. Randomly stumbled upon these PVC transition strips and thought it was worth a try (if it worked). To my surprise it matched very well to the new flooring and the down-step sizing was accurate and fit well to the floor. Now to the caveat... The adhesive is a little meh tbh. I followed the instructions that were provided on how to get the best adhesion, and I cleaned the area prior to putting the transition strip down. Most held well, but the ends both curled a little which put enough resistance to the adhesive that it didn't hold well on either end. This isn't the end of the world, as I can easily nail down the ends, but that doesn't change the fact that the glue failed and both ends of this strip were warped. I was able to cut most of the warp off of one of the sides, but there wasn't enough strip left for the opening to cut off any more from the other.Small criticisms for an altogether nice product that I am glad I stumbled across. Would buy this again for other area's of the house if needed, as it worked well enough that the project was made much easier, even if I do have to nail down the ends.

There perfect amount of rise I need to join hardwood floors to bathroom tiles. Really easy to trim and install. I used wood glue underneath to ensure it doesn’t peel. Four weeks in, no issues.

Bought this for my 90 yr old mother’s living room rug. She just got a walker, and ran into a problem with the walker’s rear stops (wheels at front, stops at rear for stability) catching on the edge of her 6x9’ rug. Don’t want a fall!… So, researched threshold options, and since she has hardwood, we didn’t want to be nailing into the wood - so opted for an adhesive mount. The key IMO is to heat the strip prior to placing. I used a hair dryer on hi heat for about 5 mins… the strip softens, and when positioning, trying to apply vertically at 90 degrees, the glue edge holds well (press firmly onto the floor, while still warm). Also, try to clean/dry the floor surface real well, prior to installing. It’s been on for a month now, with no problems. Long term, … we’ll see!
