Doesn’t fit a 6’ door well. Requires modification and not tall enough to seal the bottom of the door. Cheap made!

It was the only outswing threshold that actually went under the door bottom l could find. Other thresholds just acted as a stop. Door bottom sat on concrete floor. Could not seal against water infiltration. Thought is was a little pricey. Also support info was dead end, no answer. No extension available. Client liked it. If no leak it’s worth it

The dims pic showed more than others, but I needed to know the distance of the jam & the distance from the jam to the end. Also, there are no screw down screws. How in the hoot am I supposed to secure it. There were no instructions included. No customer service number, nada. For that high price, you would think they might have something.

I guess 4-3/4" is the current standard and my house is old. Just be careful because it doesn't show that the back dim is 2-5/8". So if you have a newer 4-3/4" jamb, this will position the outside of the door flush with the edge of the frame, which is what you want. However, if you have a wider jamb such as 5-1/2", it will position the door 3/4" back from the edge of the jamb and the hinges won't work. To compensate, the back of the jamb (inside the house) will need to be inset 3/4" from the inside edge of the jamb and the threshold will extend that much further beyond the frame on the outside. If the outside is lower, this is untenable, as the aluminum threshold isn't supported and will bend when you step on it. This isn't what I was expecting as it lists that the threshold is wider than 5-1/2 and doesn't show the back dim. Other than that, it is a nice, durable threshold. I graded them down for withholding the back dimension, which is critical information, not for the quality of the threshold.
